Took the kid outside to play yesterday and today. (She's 4...we have a big deep pond and no fence until spring....So I'm out there with her)
Did 4000 loads of laundry
Cooked 2 evening meals!
Cleaned 2 closets and packed up outgrown kids clothes
Put up some blinds and curtains in the bathroom
Spent forever trying to find a place on the beach for 2 nights in May
Did luggage research online (Will never ever buy the expensive stuff again! Didn't last any longer than the cheap stuff I've had in the past)
Watched a bunch of TV shows on the DVR that have been backing up forever
Built a tent with chairs and blankets in the middle of the livingroom
Thought about cleaning the house......that's as far as I got on that one....thinking about it
And like the certain toon above me....checked here or test often to see if there was any news!
Oh yes went on open. Raced, fished and goofed off on my little toon with PTT.

- Opened the test page up in my Opera Browser and set it to refresh every minute. As long as it said "Down for maintenance" in the task bar I knew test was still down.
- Played open all day. First time in ages I've played TT so much in one day, but I got a lot done on my open toon Rodent of Unusual Size and enjoyed chatting and "working" with TTFs all day.
- Booked a Cooking Party so I'll have dinners for a month in my freezer. I love to cook, but won't feel much like cooking in the next few weeks.
- Loaded and ran then unloaded the dishwasher
- Made Avgolemono soup from scratch using frozen carcasses (ew!), water, bay leaves, carrots, onion, celery, garlic, peppercorns, sea salt, rice, lemon, and egg
- Took phone call from Asst Principal about 1st grade son displaying middle finger in lunchroom to be funny (apparently we never explained that was a bad thing because it's never come up before)
- Helped whinging 3rd Grade son with his writing homework assignment
- Threatened defenestration to both boys before pouring self glass of Meridian Pinot Grigio
- Did 2 loads of laundry and sorted it into piles, but did not put it away
- Loaded the dishwasher
- Took a pill prescribed "for nerves" then sat down to write this

The first day test was down:
I worked bux and merits on open, checked test periodically
Cleaned the house--checked test in between cleaning each room
Played the Sims 2 and Psychonauts (checked test every so often)
Watched TV
Did a VP and died in a CFO on Anita Firehydrant
Went to sleep thinking test would be back in the am
The second day test was down:
Checked test the first thing in the morning then packed for trip to North Carolina
Checked test once more
Drove seven hundred miles from New York to North Carolina to see my daughter
Spent about an hour with my daughter and hubby talking
Booted up my laptop and test is still down!!!!

On open had a goofy mint with my brand new SF Miss MiMi (round of applause) and my recent new SF Joel (bows deeply)
Did a 6 man CFO with Freddy Whatzit and a bunch of toons from that Daphne Fizzlehopper seemingly pulled out of a hat. Hey are you guys members here? I seem to recall King Pancake having a welcome thread. If so, thanks!! I had too much fun enjoying all those missed lures.
There was a VP I wanted to go to, but I was too slow and missed the boat. Oh well, next time! Sorry!
Sang more songs from the Buffy soundtrack to my son as he rolled his eyes at me.

Did a vp with Daphne Fizzlehopper and QUEEN Pancake Fizzlehopper (his uber) LOL. Daphne Fizzlehopper aka Little Melody Sparklemuffin is here. I was sure Pancake would follow, but if he did I must have missed his welcome. Maybe that's why he x'd me off of test : even though he says he didn't. I'll have to go look for that.
Ladybug fought the vp and is almost finished her merits to go again. Miss Bananaswirl has been out and about trying to get those level 6 gags in time for the race, she's made significant progress. Ricky has come out to fight the boss when someone wanted to go and the other 2 weren't ready. Caught up with some open friends I haven't seen for awhile, the usual.
Oh, and is test up yet? Nope. Is it up yet? Not yet. Is it up yet? Answer is still no . . .

Gee, a typical week for me
In game:
I've had fun on open.
Did a bunch of "Power CFO's" with a fine bunch of toons on Tues and Wed. Let's use squirt!
Did 8400 out of 8900 bucks on my CB Uber last night, made a freind with a "Mute Wonder". Saw Marsh and Silly Salty and did some nice runs with them.
And.. .still working on my 70th fish, ugh...
Out of game:
Went swimming/ hot tubbing with my kids and their friends after the hailstorm.
Wrote a research proposal. Updated some presentations. Read some specs. Lots of mtgs at work
Started a new Kellerman book, about 140 pages into it now.
Made tempura and cooked a Japanese dinner for the wife and kiddies (was that Tues or Wed?)
Flew to Santa Clara and back again. (every Wed)....
Getting ready for our schools auction to raise money for the teachers classroom supplies and books. Morale support for my wife who writes the program, coordinates donations etc... (it's tonight!!)
Went to my daughters orchestra concert Wed. Had to go find a non-shiny, red cumberbun and bow tie. She lost hers. Mom made one outta red duct tape.
Help math homework, volumetric calculations, surface area and some thermodynamic stuff in science
Kids and wife went to the High School Play "Beauty and the Beast" on Thurs. I played till midnite.
Replaced the headlights in my truck.
EDIT: oooo, ooo last night was my night on the roof...

Test being down has cost me money. Hubby bought 2 new suits last weekend and needed to get alterations done on the pants. Sooooooooo today, he says "come and take a ride with me and pick up my pants".. We pick up the pants and he says "while we are out, let's look for some shirts and ties for my new suits",mmmmmmmmm okay. He has no idea how to coordinate colors, so guess I came in handy, lol. When that was done, he spots a shoeeeeeeee store in the mall. Here we gooooo. All the time he's saying,"find something for yourself", sounds good to me, except all of the stores we have gone to are for men and boys, lmao. After an hour of trying on shoes, he says, " I like 3 pair and can't decide which ones to get". Can anyone guess what happens next?? Yesssssssssss, he bought all 3 pair. You ask, what did I get?? the pleasure of paying for them, lol. I think this was his way of playing an April Fool's joke on me. I could have gotten 10 yearly subscriptions to ToonTown.
When test is back up, I'm starting a new toon Broke Taya

I did school and a million VP's and CFO's, yay! I'm trying to get some unites and sos cards so I can solo the VP. I'm also writing a Toontown story that I'll share in about three weeks. Now that I've announced that, I'll have to finish it!

After the 3rd-4th day of no test I actually had a blast!
We got to take a youngster thru the VP on Friday. What a fine bunch of toons showed up. The spirit of TTF was strongly with us yesterday. You guys ROCK!!!
I brought a new friend with me, Roxy PurpleMonkey who I hope to introduce to this site real soon. She thought we were kinda nuts. I got down to 12-18 laff and used up 3-4 bananapeels and 3 glasses of spit water. Woot!
I went sad in the CFO, 1st time in a while, but oh well. It was fun playing with some of my favorite toon town buds.
I finished B'splats 8900 cashbucks, took SZD thru Brghh and now I have 4 toons VP/CFO ready. Look out!
I went to my kids school auction. We won 3 dinners, Black Angus, Rogolios, Applebees and we won a homecooked dinner!
My daughter's 2nd grade teacher is going to cook us dinner for 8 and wash the dishes. That will be a hoot!
My oldest played in the Empire Festival, band, today and they sounded awesome. The 6th grade band placed as high as the Sr High El Dorado Hills band both in performance (3 songs) and sight reading (playing a song from sheet music they had never rehearsed). They were great! (but I did have to get up early).
Hope test is up soon. I hear Murky is awful lonely. (Honey, I baaaack....., REDRUM, REDRUM, REDRUM......)
And tonight, I getta have dinner with some of my dear family friends.

Yes, LST that VP was a Blast!
Ok, so I have that VP and many CFOs with some great toons. Last night we had a BLAST doing Four Person Eight Toon CFOs. Each of us had two toons in the same CFO. Talk about Rocking...used a total of TEN gags on the second CFO. Safe battle took all of a couple minutes.
I almost forgot about the fishing. Several hours the last couple of days looking for that [durn] fish! The more I fish the more I think it is a scam!
I have found you can only do so much fishing and CFOs then you need to walk away from the computer. Thanks to test being down my garage is now clean and organized. We are supposed to have storms in the area tonight so I thought it would be a good idea to clean and make room so I could park the truck inside if needed.
So, Thanks Disney for allowing me the time to get the garage clean. Now...only to keep it clean...YIKES!
