Okay, Ian is cute, but not that cute! Gosh, Sasha was such a good doodle! She hardly ever gets tired and when I work on a trick, she seems to get it pretty quickly. She was only up to 7 on jumps, but gosh, that was a lot of time to get her there! When I was in a building today I kept hitting sos, thinking I'd call her, and she wasn't showing up. I finally realized that it is b/c she isn't there. I noticed Ian had clicked on Jr. this afternoon, and I didn't think much of it. Darn it... wish he'd quit using the mouse to click on buttons! I emailed Toontown to see if they can restore her. Wah! I'm not up to starting over on that one... wish he'd deleted Maestro... I wouldn't have minded losing that doodle!

Oh, man! I feel for ya! As the mom of little ones who have deleted friends, deleted my son's new and expensive doodles, accepted the worst possible tasks imaginable and cost us all large amounts of jellybeans from going "mad" (as they call it ) I can totally sympathize. We then made them their own toons, and they are not to play anyone else's, or leave TTC unless a big person is with them. Good luck!

LOL! I had the same experience happen to me back in November. A friend's daughter traded my doodle and I was devestated! She had purchased some TTC or DD doodle who was terrible! So, I had to purchase another one, but it turns out my new doodle was even better than my old one!

Thanks for the sympathy! I definitely miss Sasha, but I've learned my lesson... I will definitely hit "quit" next time and I won't leave TT running! Ian has just started trying to use the mouse in the past couple of weeks... darn, but he is getting good. Now if he could just learn how to read to know what he is hitting! lol!
Hopefully I'll find another ddl doodle like Sasha. I'm going to go ahead and trade in Maestro... Sr.'s DDL doodle that was supposed to be really good, but who has taken forever to try to train at all. Why couldn't Ian have clicked on THAT one?! Ugh!

ROFL! I think it may be time to give your child a toon of his own.
Good luck finding another doodle. Hopefully you'll get lucky like I did with my new one!

hehehe... the bad thing is that Ian has a toon of his own on each account! I think he tries to click on one of his "doggies" and then whoever shows up, he plays. Bella wasn't happy when she caught him on her toon yesterday, dressing toony in the most horrendously clashing clothes. At least he didn't trade in her doodle! lol! I think that if I make sure that I hit that "quit" button then I might be able to save the other toons this heartbreak.
No good ddl doodles today. Just as well as I need to do a bit more fishing so that I don't wipe out my bank!

ROFL!! I can imagine the indignation when Bella realized how her toon was dressed, thanks to Ian! Good luck!

Hehehe...this one made me giggle...my kids have deleted not one, not two, not 3 but SIX DDL doodles that I have gotten for them. I've given up on getting them good doodles...it's too expensive! If they want me to work their toons for them they know not to delete the doodles now, but oh man...for about 3 weeks there I was SO frustrated! rofl Hang in there, they'll figure it all out eventually!!

My 4 year old deleted my stepson's doodle once. The two of them were sharing an account and my son decided to play his brother's toon and for whatever reason sold his doodle back. We moved my stepson's toon to my husband's account and now my son has his own account so he can't mess up any of our toons!

Lol - I've never had any friends or doodles deleted. But my 6 year went tasking shopping for me once. My first toon and first (I think) DDL task - he picked 10 bullion supervisors. Yeah and I had lvl 4 sound - my last track. Try getting on an elevator there!
Of course - he is a kid, but I'm still waiting to hear why the hubby took my uber racing. He is hiding from me still.

I think the most hurtful deletion we have had is when kiddo deleted my brother's uber- Da Big Brat - like lil brat he was from before the upgrade and he had actually finished. The most annoying task kiddo picked for me 300 3+ buildings, took me 3 months to get it done.

Luckily, Ian can't delete toons, or else we would have given up TT by now. LOL! That would hurt! The problem that I have w/ Ian is when I leave Jr swimming in the pond in the good district, then he thinks he can play that toon. Guess the toon looks bored?! Luckily, he hasn't picked any bad toontasks for Jr. He picked a couple for one of Bella's toons, but they weren't nearly as bad as some others that I've heard about. I think we were lucky.

I had never really paid attention to how easy it is to delete your doodle. They really ought to make it more difficult! I think they should ask for a password. (Anyone want to suggest it to them? I will!) Think about it - you go in to the pet shop to look at the doodles and the first thing they ask you is if you want to sell your doodle or whatever. You have to click something in order to look, and they click the wrong thing. Then they get to look at the doodles, so to them, it's all good. I caught Mary almost deleting another one the other day and she was very upset to learn what would have happened if she clicked that box!
Has anyone tried to get their doodle back after it's been deleted like that?

Yep, I begged for my doodle to be reinstated, but I was told that there was nothing Disney could do. Ian sold Jr's doodle again a few days ago, so Jr. will just be doodle-less. Luckily, I hadn't spent much time training that doodle. What hurt more was discovering that he managed to spend about 9000 jbs in the same little window that he was playing Jr. I'm imagining that he probably returned Sheba, bought another doodle or two, and then traded those in. Unless some friends got some really nice gifts from the cattelog... like some cannon rentals. lol! I really think password protected doodles are the way to go!

Good grief! I can change the title to my last post in here! I just sent in a suggestion to Disney. They have got to make it more difficult to trade in doodles. This is ridiculous:
How about making it more difficult to trade in doodles? My cute little 3 year old son has traded in yet another very good DDL doodle for my toon, Loopy Rainbow Blubbersnooker. It was a cute doodle, and I have really been trying to train her. This is at least the 6th doodle that the little guy has traded in (his sisters have both refused to talk to him at some point for the same reason). Just adding a screen where you have to copy some letters or numbers would help. Little kids would have a hard time with that one and need help. I'd prefer having to type in your password to trade in your doodle or buy another one, but at least having one more safeguard would help. I know I'm not the only adult whose child exits his toon while I'm out of the room, clicks on the big toons, and either commits toonicide or sells their doodle. At least the gags and lps aren't bad to replace, it is the doodle that is more painful. ) Please consider adding one more step to the trading in process.

A bit late, but I just had to say I feel your pain! My wee one traded in one of my doodles, Parmesan. He was such a good doodle, almost maxed on tricks, reliable when I would SOS, seldom hungry, tired, lonely, etc...one day, he was gone. The wee one had decided to trade him in and bought a doodle who is more pain than gain. She's either hungry, lonely or angry. I'd trade her in, but I think it's the mommy in me...every time I try, guilt overcomes me.
