Last night I went on the CCG run... took a while to even get enough toons and then we got gag-trainers who just about killed everyone. After surviving that we all died in the craning round because some new toons grabbed the cranes and wouldn't let more experienced players take the controls. Okay, enough whining from me...
I was thinking that it would be nice every once in a while to do the CFO without having to bark out gag selection orders ( follow me, let's all go for the same cog) and without worrying about who is going to grab the cranes.
To make it a bit more challenging we could go with whimpy gags (that's one level above weenie gags). We could also only allow three craners instead of four.
Anyone interested?

I have to say, I'm getting very fed up with CCG runs lately. Those vp runs have not been fun anymore. I hate that I get cranky and bitter after every run. TT is supposed to be fun!!
I would be up for setting up some runs. I dislike doing random runs and I don't have enough SF to do runs with. Maybe we could expand it and include vps as well.

I would live to start some runs with the group of toons here at Toontown Friends!.
How about we start a discussion about times that would work for you.
Anyone?

I have only done 1 CCG run during the past few weeks. Would love to see some runs here...
Anytime from 9 to 11 eastern works for me.

I would be in for sure. 9 eastern is too early for me though, 9 central works better. I could work it in earlier sometimes but not too often, gotta get those kiddos to bed!

I totally agree with you here. The past few CCG runs I have been on have been anything but fun. Too many toons I don't recognize who are doing their own thing. I have left too many of them frustrated and upset too. I won't take Motor Mouse on any runs with them since the past few times it has been a miracle if he's survived because of bad teamwork.
I would be very interested in doing some runs with the people here too. It just can't be too late for me. I am up between 5 and 6 am almost every morning.

I can so later runs also, but I'm better with those of the weekends. I'm pretty flexible, so I'll try my best to come to whatever runs are setup.
I would like to see some regular "fun" runs added into the schedule.
4 toon CFO
Uber CFO/VP
Spooky gag VP/CFO
Pretty much anything to mix it up a bit.
I think if we started setting up so runs now at various times, and have someone keep track of how many people are showing up to each, that we could come up with a schedule based on that.

Really hate to say this but I have to agree.. Not sure what is going on but the new "radical schedule" has brought new toons and bad play. I am not ready to give up on the CCG yet hoping that it is the holidays and the intorduction of this new schedule that has brought all of this on. I only knew a few toons in the pit for yesterday afternoons run and they were all off standing silently to the side while a huge group of toons was in the middle doing TOW restocks.
The VP to say the least was a challenge. Once again we had a trapper on our side who was determined to do his own thing, a 117Laff who was doing the glitch making things even more confusing and they were calling for sound the whole time. I really felt sorry for the 55 Laff on our side I was sure that she would go sad and had 3 TOW Toonups ready to go in just in case. I am thinking about going to TTC and starting a post about it even though I doubt it will help anything.. I know for sure that I wont be bringing Miss Micestro on regular runs once I finally get her merits done it is just way too Risky. I will save her for the uber runs where I can feel safe that everyone is looking out for each other and not looking for a few extra gag points.

I would post about it at TTC. The more posting about such things the better IMO! I haven't been on any CCG runs in awhile so have not seen what you are talking about but it is not exactly making me want to go! Yikes let's get this taken care of....

Well I posted on that thread earlier this morning. DM brings up several good points in her post and I answered what I have been seeing and what I am frustrated with. I think it is a good idea to let the powers that be know what we are thinking (and why some of us aren't coming to the runs).

Well, I posted, too. I'm very pleased to see I'm not the only one feeling like this lately, thought maybe I was being too sensitive, or cranky.
I'm usually available for runs at night, between 8:30 and 11:00 eastern. I could do earlier runs (after 6) once in a while.

I know some of you are frustrated about the CCG runs lately and I will admit I am too. Setting up runs outside of the CCG maybe a good idea to get a break from these frustrations. However, i hope no one abandons the CCG because of this. The CCG needs us now more than ever.

I am not planning to abandon the CCG in any way. It is nice to take a break now and then, but I agree that they need us.

It's a scary thing right now on these runs, so many new baby black cats too, has anyone noticed? And I want to welcome them, but too many of then do not have good gags yet, seltzer bottles, trumpets, lots of baby black cats, lol. And really it is so much worse then most of the random runs, I still do random runs, and ccg is scarier.

Yep I noticed them lol! Had a couple yesterday say hi to me and no clue who they were.. Abracadabra and Hocus Pocus..
Have a feeling that quite a few of the new black cats I have been seeing are CCG members. I have seen a few with good gags but the majority have really low ones. Just wish they would think about the team before rushing to VP. Take a couple of weeks and work your new toons and then join us..

I really don't think anyone here is talking about abandoning the CCG because those of us here are a big part of the CCG who hold the group together not only in game but also on TTC. That being said I think it will be up to us to come up with some good suggestions on how to help fix this problem.
I have been with the CCG for 1 1/2 years this month and have never seen it like it is now.. All of the "stinkiness" is gone now and it seems for like I hold my breath when I enter the elevator and hope for the best. I think that runs outside of the CCG runs with this group would help us to remember that there are others out there who have the same goals in mind and that is not only winning but having fun without the drama!

You are so right Granny, the CCG has become a scary thing right now, especially for an uber. Every one wants to either work gags or use small sound on big cogs. Seems like the only way to catch a good group is to go sad and hope some of the old timers offer to take you on a revenge run.
It also seems everybody wants an uber toon but few are willing to wait until their gags are developed enough to be able to contribute to the team. I did a run the other nite with a new uber who's biggest gags were a berry pie and squirt gun. I mean give me a break. I was still hesitant to start vp'ing on Little Igor when he had all lvl 5 gags, but a squirt gun...COME ON! Needless to say I went sad because of a lack of firepower when we really needed it. [/rant]
