Here are some possible solutions presented by our awesome TTF members. Try these first, then let us know if you're still having trouble! Cool

Problem:

As of a few days ago, every time I close IE, I need to re sign-in to TTF. Is this something that I did, or something that everyone is experiencing? I have it set to log me in automatically, but it doesn't seem to be. Thanks for your help.

Solutions:

Doctor Skids :
I haven't changed any settings. The autologin is done with cookies, if your browser has stopped accepting cookies, or you have recently changed browsers? Or possibly as I've seen it before some users come in via toontownfriends.com instead of www.toontownfriends.com which will not set the cookies properly. I sign in everytime too, but that's by choice.

kale15 :
ok list of reasons why auto login may not be working:

- using a different computer. (don't laugh this does happen)

- using a different Internet browser. (this one gets me when I'm not paying attention)

- it's not saving the cookies properly or they have been dumped.

and thats all I got. Most of the time the problem is user related not the board. If promblem still oocurs after checking those 3 things, try tinkering with your internet settings a little.

Lady Googlebrains :
I almost hate to ask the obvious, but when you logged back in, I assume you checked the box right under there that says 'Log me in automatically each visit'?

I'm assuming you have been each time, but just wanted to check.

Zippy D Doda :
I was having the same problem. I cleared all my cookies yesterday and restarted explorer, logged in checking the log me in box and have not had a problem since then.

LeaWildcat :
If you are using IE then it's an update we all just got. I was having this trouble and got frustrated, and solved the problem this way:

At the top of the web page
Go to Tools
Click Options
Click on the Privacy Tab
Click on Sites
Type in www.toontownfriends.com
Click Allow
Click OK and OK again

Now it will save your cookies.

LeaWildcat :
What about firewalls or antispyware? Anyone tried allowing the site through those programs?

Well, something worked. Not sure what though! I tried getting rid of the cookies a different way. In IE, I went to View, then Privacy Report, then Settings, then General, then I deleted the cookies, and either that worked... or something else did, but I did not have to log in this time. Thanks so much for your help!
