After a long break from mints/facs, I've gotten back into business in my quest to finish maxxing Marigold and Bingo.
My problem though is remembering IF there is an invasion going or not, the other day, I stood inside the mint with two randoms for I know 2 minutes, while none of us could remember "Shall we go?", "I need more cogbucks"......
Well, to remedy the situation, I've begun using a 3x5 index card that I've marked "Invasion Yes" on one side and "Invasion No" on the other side. While in the mint/fac, if the status of the invasion changes, I just flip the card, that way I always know if there is an current invasion in my district.

That is a great idea! I can never remember, and am not allowed to ask, so I just wait for a certain friend to say "Yes" or "No".

If I'm running two toons, I just put a bubble over one's head (the one I'm not using to chat with). Just a simple "yes" or "no". A friend writes it down and has started writing the time as well.

Why you clever doggie!
You leave me no choice but to act as Copy Cat on this one except, oh no! I don't have 3x5 index cards...
I'll have to improvise...

I do the bubble over my head when I am running solo...but I tend to forget to change it so I still end up waiting at the end because I do not know if the bubble is correct.

Ok, time for another lesson in what to tell and what NOT to tell.
Not really sure I would post (FOR EVERYONE TO SEE) about the sharpe and monitor!
Don't know if you have any other ways to track the invasions, however if you do, maybe you should NOT post them!
Dear me! 3x5 index cards, sharpes and monitors...whats next?

Well, another method I tried (in between the two aformentioned methods) was to change the side of the montior that my Dr. Pepper was on.
Dr. Pepper is my choice of beverage while Tooning, so I would place the bottle on the left side for invasion and move it to the right for no invasion, however, I started getting my drinking Dr. Pepper bottle mixed up with my spit-cup Dr. Pepper bottle (hey, I'm from Bama, gotta chew while playing!), needless to say, after drinking from the wrong bottle 4 or 5 times, I had to change methods again.

Ok, so many things wrong here.
First, it took 4 or 5 times drinking from the spit cup before you thought about a new way?? I am thinking that once....MAYBE twice and you should have gone with a new plan.
Second, Dr. Pepper??? Who in the world drinks that stuff?
Of the three you have posted I really think this is the one you should delete. Do you REALLY want this out in public? I think NOT!
Dear me! 3x5 index cards, shape writings on the monitor, spit-cup (although that is the correct thing to do with Dr. Pepper bottle) becoming a drink...What's Next??

ok, ok, so I'm a slow learner,
Now, I must admit that I didn't move to the index card (current method) right off after the Dr. Pepper bottle method, I moved to what I call the "bill of the hat method", however it didn't work out either.
You see, I decided to wear a hat and turn the bill to the left during an invasion and to the right when there was no invasion. This actually worked quite well at home, but when playing in the airport one day during an invasion, I was accosted and beat up by a gang of 11 year olds because apparently they were in the "hat bills to the right gang" and I was in their territory, so once again, I was forced to switch methods.
