Thanks everyone! I am so sorry I haven't posted sooner but we did that run then promptly took off the day after for a week of visiting family and no TT and limited internet through part of the trip.

Earlier this week I tried to post about it but when I moved all the pictures I had from the event(and there were lots) to another directory on my computer for some reason they all became corrupted and I could no longer view them. Crying or Very sad

So I will post the few pictures that I uploaded before this unfortunate incident along with the write up I had prepared lol.

Saturday morning hit and I was faced with the dreaded 5500/8900 runs and I started asking the people I wanted about their schedules. Lois had so kindly offered me a chance to use her son's toon so that my son could come on the two runs as well but when I started to talk to her about our vacation plans it became apparent that if I didn't do it on Sunday I would have to wait at least 2 weeks to get this done and let me tell you I am far too impatient for that. So now I am trying to get all these merits and bucks and pack for a week away visiting family and finishing up some final touches on a birthday gift for my Dad. Saturday was a very late night but by the time I signed off for the night I knew that I would be able to do it on Sunday and the time was set. Right after the Brown Monkey CFO.

It was a great run with some of my oldest SF's on board along with my son on his own toon for the VP and Loony Nickelbouncer for the CFO and hubby on Loony for VP and Freddy for CFO. With Lois's careful planning they did not dissapoint in the griefing area as well. Right down to the other side in the CFO sounding like they were dying all the way through. After finding out that was part of the griefing I had to laugh about the worry I had when Bill said "Gee that is the the quickest I have ever been down to 10 laff before" And Seana saying "Audrey if we don't make it congratulations and good luck tonight". However Lady Melody did not miss out on the opportunity to grief a few of them at their own game a few times too.

So here are some pictures:

Lady Melody Petalface dancing for her last sellbot merit. Seems that factory could not do it for her and only being about 70 short she did one building then killed cogs on the street during an invasion.

The gang outside the VP. So sorry Nat could not come and thanks to Dr Goopy for filling in at the last minute like that. Sounds like you fit in very nicely! My son is Captian Knuckles Featherhopper and Kevin is there playing on Loony Nickelbouncer.

It was such a blast. I am hoping when Lois returns from Mexico she will have some more pictures to fill in the blanks.

Another late congratulations post from me, LOL. Way to go Audrey! Two keys in one evening - woo hooty!

I remember a few months ago when I first suggested I might do this myself. Well, I obviously lost the will, but you took the idea and made it happen. You rock!

The two runs were a blast, with just enough friendly griefing to have fun without ever really risking a loss.

Thanks also to Lois and her son, for lending us a toon so that three from our family could attend these runs. I have to admit though, it's very strange running a toon I'm used to playing with.

Now Audrey, how about using these keys a bit, instead of just playing your new toon all the time, LOL. (To others - that's a bit of a friendly dig because her new toon is on the same account as Freddy, so I haven't been able to play him much lately. No problem really because I've been enjoying playing my little toon too.)
