All the friendlist chat had me wanting to post my own view on it. Most of my toons get their time then I go build a new one. I try to take friends with me from toon to toon, but sometimes we don't touch base.
For those good friends off playing WOW, know that I'm just not up to deleting you from my list, I just want ya to come back to TT heehee. But I don't need room on any of my toons, as it's to hard to play with everyone (50 sfs) on the list as it is. So if you don't mind then I don't mind keeping them even if you only pop on your toon here and there

I haven't any intention of deleting anyone right now or in the near future. I checked LVTP's list the other day to find 12 open spaces on her list lol. All were nsf or non CCG/TTF friends anyway. Guess I don't play her often enough anymore and I fully understand them x'ing her. Hmm - maybe they thought I'd gone to WoW?

Now that I plan on slowly working law - at least I have room for some new friends. The old ones will stay for a long long time though! Call me an optimist. Smile

LVTP, shoot me a code if you have a chance! Granny's thinking about tackling LB, too!

I must say, I don't plan on deleting anyone, either. I'm just asking for a head's up if you plan on returning to TT or not.... that's all! Wink

Oh, I am not deleting anyone either, no worries! BUT if you know you won't be back....lemme know, is all I was saying. Smile I have room on ALL of my lower toons if anyone knows they're coming to TT for the night and wants to meet up.

My biggest reason for playing Toontown is because it is basically simple and funny. My job is all about resolving problems and figuring out why somone's software set up isn't doing what they think, so I really don't want to have to think too much after hours Smile

Also, I really feel I should spend less time on computer games overall! I've taken to playing before my daughter goes to bed, which I never used to do. And, I should probably get some things done around the house in the evening. So, even thinking of adding another computer game would be a very bad idea!!

I voted Wow! - Oh Yeah!

WoW is the type of game that I was playing before I started playing Toontown on a very regular (read: addicted) basis. I was playing Neverwinter Nights with my brothers (it is actually marketed by the same company as WoW. I enjoy that genre of games, as I grew up playing PnP Dungeons and Dragons (and to think, I haven't chopped anyone's head off, or worshiped any devils yet!!!)

What I have not done, since I've begun to look into WoW is try to push it people. No one pushed it on me, or even asked me to play for that matter. I chose to inquire about it, I chose to purchase a copy, I chose to play.

An astute person would notice that I haven't replied to too many threads here since I began playing WoW, well, the subject matter has been such that I didn't feel that I had anything to contribute. I have replied to the WoW thread only to answer questions.

One thing I would like to mention is everyone needs to take a step back and look in the mirror before they start calling on the "addiction" gods. Toontown is just as addicting as WoW. I have yet to stay up until 2-3AM playing WoW, I have done that with Toontown many, many times. I've left work early and taken a partial sick day to play Toontown. Yes, I am/was addicted to Toontown. I enjoy it very much. I have also enjoyed WoW.

I've told some folks that I'll play both (I know folks who are doing that now). I will play both. If anyone wants to delete any of my toons; Be My Guest.

The Toontown Gardening does interest me, I guess the only thing left for me in Toontown is new content. Special Events such as Training Runs are also of interest.

Ok, nuff said (one note: I read most of this thread yesterday, and only generally remember the direction of the discussion. I am not meaning to attack anyone or upset anyone with this post.)

Again, I want to clarify that I have no intention of deleting anyone just because they are off on another game. I just asked if anyone is not planning on returning to TT to let me know so I can make room on my list. I don't think anyone who posted said they would be deleting friends.

The addiction gods scare me - that's MY problem. No one elses. I am addicted to TT. I average 4 hours of sleep a night now, less on Fridays and Saturdays. I have to force myself to stay away from the computer until my son is in bed on weekdays. Late last night the hubby comes home from work. I see sf chat on my screen - its him talking to me because that's the fastest way to get me to answer. Rolling Eyes I know nothing about WoW, but I LOVE fantasy. I feel certain if I tried it then I'd get sucked right into it too. I have a hard enough time handling my TT addiction. I KNOW I can't handle another. It's not for me at this point in my life because I choose to play a game I feel suitable for 6 year olds.

Again ... said once, twice, I lost count. This was never intended to hurt anyones feelings or pit one game against the other. I won't say never - but I have no intention of deleting anyone at this time or anytime in the distant future.

Crazy O - it was great seeing you at the uber run last night! Delete you?! Hmmm - I'm still waiting for that code you've promised to send twice now?

This thread really interests me because my step-son gave me WoW for Christmas. Seems he and his girlfriend love WoW and when they found out I was playing TT they thought I should move up to WoW. I've looked at the box a few times but never downloaded it. What stops me is that I think it is something I would have to keep from my 10 year old son. I have a mental picture of myself sneaking on line to play when he isn't around so he doesn't see the game, lying to him about my gaming activities, etc. Something's really wrong with that picture. I know I wouldn't let my son play this game, he's not mature enough, so why set up a situation where I'm doing something I wouldn't let him do too? If he were 15 or 16 I'd prolly feel different.

Right now we can play TT together and it's a big family affair (boy is it, in our family we have 10 players and about 80 toons!). WoW wouldn't work for all our youngsters so the box will sit unopened.

LAW? what's that?

No Thank You. I'm not thinking that I will ever actually work law on any toon. Now, work the garden, yes.

Marigold and Bingo are HW/RB who need their keys. They do have the ole' law suit and would be glad to go into LBHQ every once in a while, but only while they are small suits and I can get their notices in buildings.

I actually don't remember anymore lol. LVTP is maxxed on HW/RB. I am just now really starting to play with the law thing. Can't say I like it - may be a real slow process. Was looking forward to the power CFO's now that she's maxxed. But either I'm not on at the right time or they aren't happening anymore. I think the CFO is what I enjoy most on LVTP. How bout I send you the code this time and you put her on the toon you want?

Owoooo girlie we pulled in 2 power cfos last night with Orville on board. We gotta get doing those again because it really helps blow off steam at the end of the nite. Plus we get to see stuff like Orville giving Lee's girlie toon a smootch and commenting on his lovely skirt lmao!

Good times, good times. I had a blast last night and it was exactly what I needed. Griefing Orville had to be the highlight! I think the lowest I got him was 14 laff? Personally, I think we should make it a weekly thing to do power cfos like last night.

I have several people wanting me try WoW as one of them got me the Warcraft battlechest for Christmas. I have yet to finish the first disk. Then I got Battle for Middle Earth for my birthday which I haven't had much time to play. This would probably be my type of game with the one big drawback of playing online. I own and play all of the Age series and have to get my weekly fix of Age of Mythology-Titans. I have tried playing them online and I find there are such sad people out there that they insist on trainers and cheats to win at all cost. I have found this to be true with the whole age series and most of the people on Game Spy when it was free. Yes, I remember the days of free online gaming <sigh>. TT and Pogo.com(why I'm not on TT on Wed) are the exceptions to my rules. I've also tried Maple Story and only play when the kiddo is on. It's too slow for me I guess. I need the strategy. Hearing some of the comments makes me think it's something I will pass on. As for friends on my list I only clean them out when I know that they no longer have a TT account. If you get deleted let me know because I'm not always the person behind the toon.

I have a confession to make. I was ready to quit TT and delete all my toons and turn my account over to hubby. I couldn't play my main toon, because she would lock up after the addition of CBHQ. So I retired her and went to work on my black cat. Then we got an update to fix the problem and I can play my red mouse again only to find because she is lureless, no one wants to board an elevator with her, or it's her fault someone went sad because she couldn't lure. Back on the shelf she goes. Truck along on the black cat until it just isn't fun anymore. For a change a pace I drag out the uber, but still not any fun. Then my work schedule changes and so did the CCG. Anna understood the issues and offered me a place over here. I want to thank you guys for making it fun again. Had it not been for Anna and the kookiness of TTF I would no longer be on TT.

Orville made my first run super great! So even if you have gone to the darkside, Brat will always have a special place for you when you come back. I completely understand your addiction to WoW. What little I have played of the Battlechest games I have enjoyed.
