The run district will be Bouncytown, with the backup being Wacky Falls.
9:00 pm ET ~ 8:00 pm CT ~ 7:00 pm MT ~ 6:00 pm PT
Hope to see you there!
I'll be there tonight (thank goodness for my Sell HQ key!)

The domestic worker Minnie recommended hasn't shown up (so hard to get good help these day!) and LVTP's still cleaning doodle doo. TW didn't get any play time yesterday and has developed a rather irritating attitude. She's looking forward to seeing everyone there!

I think 2 or 3 loads tonight! Quite a turn out!
Our run was mixed, we lost 3 ubers in the skele round. The rest of us went on to take out a fairly jumpy VP.
Now I have a question!
I pulled a Cogs Miss on the first set of cogs in the skele round. From the speed chat that ensued, I was thinking I did something wrong. I thought it would help, are Cogs Miss SOS cards frowned upon?
Please let me know!

I think it's up to the uber in question. I probably would have done it was well had Fritz been on my side and I wasn't needed for anything else. I was on the opposite side of you and we used it as well after several failed lures. Just wished I would have used it and we wouldn't have lost Momma Quackers and TW. Sorry guys.

Well - Momma Quacker and I went sad in the skele round because the rest of the team chose to tnt the leftmost cog when the right ones were getting ready to come unlured. Two hits and it was hello playground! Simple as that. When playing with ubers that can't take multiple hits - LLKR is the safest way to play. Can't say about the Cogs Miss card but it seems that when Cogs Miss is played then the gags often miss too. I'm going to start taking stats. So far my loss ratio seems to be much higher on TTF runs. Hmmmm.....

Was my bad, I had thought the 11 most was goggled and had one round left before waking up. I was having the same problem until the amazing race. Then after the 4 man vp I changed strategy and applied what I learned from that. Haven't lost since. LLKR killed me more often than go for the strongest cog. That way in a skele round it's a 9 or 10 that comes unlured which is better than the 11. Just a thought.

If you have plenty of laff that is fine. If you are a uber - LLKR works best. I made Treading Water primarily to make me a better player. I've have learned a lot about strategy that I never quite got playing on a high laff toon. Bottom line - you make choices. Sometimes they work - sometimes they don't. Unless intentionally griefed - it's a game. Have fun!

Anna,
I had no idea what SOS was being played. Most times when I don't see enough firepower on the opening Level 12 I am thinking I'm a gonner. My bad. I have no objection to cog miss cards being played at any point in the cog rounds. From where I sat I saw my cloud, a lure (I think), and an SOS (and I'm thinking Toon hit, yikes?) + some small gag. At that point I start saying my goodbyes. I'll hold off on the farewells from here on.
You did nothing wrong.

Yeah - I was pretty bummed to have lost all the ubers. I know what happened to poor Fritz and now see what happened to the other side. I used a TU unite but I really should have tossed it after that first hit and before the second. The last cog was throwing a single toon hit and I hesitated too long hoping it would go for someone else . Silly me! We just got too many misses last night for safety.

I guess it was my bad choice that did them in. I was hoping the trap would give the lure a better chance of hitting. I am always concerned when I have my lureless toon on a run with a several ubers. I packed on the elevator to fill it and did not check who had boared. I had no unites. I apologize for being the cause of the two of you going sad.

Just for clarification here... I wasn't trying to assign blame. Just stating what happened. Anyone who knows me knows that the only time I get upset is with intentional griefing which of course WAS NOT the case here. Sheesh - all the mistakes I've made... It's a game. Have fun - if it doesn't work this time, try again! Pleasure to play with you both. The blue duck? Hmmmm...I know where she lives.

Whew! Was wondering.
Funny thing is I had a 2nd Cogs Miss that I was ready to use and held back on, I was worried it would cause a similar reaction. After what happened I was wishing that I'd used it. I was hoping using them would give us a little safety until we got the cogs lured.
I wonder what a good way to indicate that you're using one of those cards is... No speed chat to give a clue comes to mind. Anyone have a good way to indicate when you're using a Hit or Miss card?
Hope to see you next time,
Anna
