I'm thinking of going with squirt. The extra gag points may come in handy in the DAs for the level 11 cogs that seem to survive the storm and hose combo. Owwwwwww

Without thinking about it too much, I am thinking lure also. However, peanut got me thinking about the math (ugh) of using organic gags. Anyone worked the numbers?

I saw a pair of organic goggle miss the other day, so it definitely won't be lure. Definitely not TU either.
I think I'll eventually sit and work the numbers. Things like an organic cake can take out a lured 11, but an organic TNT is still just shy of taking out a 12. I wonder if organic sound has a higher likelyhood of hitting? If so, I might pick it for a sound uber that likes to random vp.
Only time will tell . . .
Anna, oh Anna . . . where are you Anna? This is going to add an interesting wrinkle to the gag tables

I'm thinking throw, although I reserve the right to change my mind. I have a few more days to decide on LRB.

My toons are running the gamut.
Skinny Sourwhip (106) planted drop trees. Because she is soundless, she often "drops" on the highest cog when others sound. Also, I think it would just be fun.
My test supernoob (Noisy Sadie) planted sound trees.
My open supernoob (Doctor MOnty Octoboom) planted squirt trees.
Rodent of Unusual Size (ROUS) on test planted drop, but ROUS on open is undecided.
Snowball Two (test) planted sound.
Jean Clawed (36 laff uber) will plant lure trees.
I planted TU trees for my hubby's test supernoob (Ricky Rat)
Princess Von Nuttybrains (test, 106) planted trap up to TNT.
Um, I planted lure for my hubby's test brown monkey and throw for mine.

I was just thinking about this. I was hoping someone had done the math and determined if there were any real advantages of one gag over another. On test, I planted sound. The whole DA's office thing of cloud and hose makes me lean toward squirt. Come on! Surely someone has done the math!!

If the homegrown Lure works a higher percentage of the time, I have nothing more to think about. My Lure is so bad, I am accused of griefing if I throw any Lure gags. When I show up for boss fights, certain toons won't go with me if they see I have stocked up on Lure.
My Lure is so bad I have even TP'd away from myself in solo buildings and factories (I hate when I have to stink myself & leave). Goofy needs to be alert if he's in a lonely district late at night. His glib gag guarantee is wearing very thin on me. This is more of a personal thing between Goofy and me, but I will apologize in advance if something truly un-toonlike occurs in Daisy Gardens.

Well, it's like this. I'm taking it ALL! Level 7 gags are FINALLY a way for all of my toons to be just a little different.
Dizzy - well as the only real trapper in the Twinklemuffin Family, I guess she'll take trap. Maybe organic tnt can't take out a 12 but organic trap door CAN take out a 7
McZilla - Since he can't lure, he needs something big to be able to kill all the cogs in the lineup if necessary. Plus as my "Destroyer Toon" he wants something big. Sound for this bad boy!
Little Dizzy - She loves her drop, has always loved her drop, went from an entry level flower pot to a fully maxed piano in 10 days. She can't wait to drop a boat on some cogs.
Super Dizzy - A cash uber needs to prove that her fog is maxed... what better way for toons to know she has a maxed fog than to pack an opera singer in her pocket?
Mousewife - My nurturing toon MUST have toon up and be able to dole out more laff points. "Love ya!"
Miss T. Fied - Can't decide on this one. Probably throw so she has a bigger gag to back up stupid gag choices by other people. Still tossing around the idea of lure to encourage LLKR as an uber, but then again I don't always care if people LLKR when I play Missy.
As for the 2 remaining tracks, those will also be assigned. Just for toons that don't stand out in my sig line.

Tough decision!! On test Anita planted throw mostly because she has the entire gag track to plant.
On open....hmmm my sell uber will go with lure or squirt, my cash uber sound.
Aunt Trixie will go with drop and Zippy will try trap. A little variety never hurt anyone.
OOOOHHH 500th post for me!!

Lady Mo Mo planted lure on Test and rarely misses! Unless the Stinky FunnyMush is around... but since he's MIA atm, it's worked better than the norm. It makes it much easier for her to solo the buildings!!
Purplesmirk, you get the Stink prize today, since you are probably the only one who's admitted to stinking YOURSELF!!! JAJA! That IS sad!
I honestly haven't thought about what to plant on Open. Granny is maxed in all gags, Stink will probably plant sound, since he's not getting any higher than 50 laff. Dawg and Mouse, well... hmm.... Gee, I guess I need to think about it...

OK, here... I've done it. I'm going to assume Disney is rounding DOWN since my throw on test was. So these figures are based on rounding DOWN.
The bold red ones are the most notable. However, remember that this chart is based on the gag being used ALONE!
Take into consideration the following:
A maxed organic quicksand only requires a squirtie flower to finish off a 6.
A maxed organic tnt only requires a squirtie flower to finish off a 12.
A maxed organic storm cloud only requires a squirtie flower to finish off an 8 unlured.
A maxed organic safe only requires a cuppie cake to finish off a 7.
It appears from the numbers on the chart and the above additional information, throw, squirt, and trap are the most beneficial to grow. However, without knowing the level 7 gag numbers, this might change.

I don't *think* anyone knows for sure, but at Toonfest that's what everyone understood from what was said. I wasn't there, but a friend was. She did say that the level 7 gags are in direct relation to gardening, so I guess I just assumed you couldn't buy level 7 gags and could only plant them. This is a complete assumption on my part.

Boy, the chart really throws a monkey-wrench in things.
My gut really wants drop on Miss P if we get the level 7 gag on the track we grow.
But! It is obvious that on throw you get more bang for you buck (so to speak).
(And, I'd like to point out that the chart is soooo clever. I'd love to show it to my sister, but then I'd get one of *those* looks!)

Gee, Jenn, you sure do have some time on your hands!
I noticed you don't have any other info on drop. Is that because you haven't tested that yourself or there isn't any information available?

Great chart Dizzy T!
Hmmmm, I think I may be wavering on Loopy's garden choice, but I am still way to confused to choose yet. It sure would be fun to have a big boat to drop, if indeed the organics are the only gags that you will get the 7th track. However, since she is not moving along in cash that quickly, perhaps sound or throw would be a more practical choice.
Decisions decisons!

The info is there, it's just that there are no drop gags that will gain enough benefit to kill larger cogs than they already do.

Ok, ok - I'm kind of confused. I didn't pay any attention to the gardening discussions since it was all on test. Now that we have it on open my son is happily planting all sorts of stuff. He has planted 3 different trees that I know of - all different gags. Are you supposed to pick just one track and go with theat one?
Also, I received my cattalog with the gardening kit, but he hasn't yet. How long before he gets his?
Thanks!

Dizzy T, that is one impressive chart! Thanks for sharing it. On my Jr. toon I ended up planting trap, just b/c it looks fun. On my baby toon, I planted throw b/c that is the only one he has all 6 gags. I'm still not sure about LRB. I have until Monday to decide.
