*raises hand* I have a toon on Test as well! Shoot me a code!
Who said there is always room for Jell-O? Based on my mass spamming response to Patty O, I do believe I owe everyone a shot! Step right up, I have quite a few "special" batches ready!

Jenn, if any of your toons want to work with Colonel, Cap or even my test toon Thunder Chicken (who's been getting more attention lately), please let me know.
It saddens me to see you relate these tales of woe. You deserve better than this.
In no way do I plan to go to the dark side. I'm still a fixture in Toontown, albeit in that dreaded office D.

Jenn I hear you loud and clear! No truer words were spoken about how people behaved when Law came out on test and then on open. I had never seen such seflish behavior from people I had great respect for. There were many days when I had no interest in being near a PC after the way some "good friends" treated me. I even stopped going to CCG runs(and removed my toons from their list) because of what happened. My salvation was test and the great people I started regularly playing with over there. If not for them I would no longer be playing TT, of that I am sure. As for going to another MPRPG... no thanks.

Thanks guys... I added Lady Rosie (Lea Wildcat) and Loopy (Loopy Fancy Pinkerpounce) to my friends lists yesterday. I was barely on yesterday... went to the CFO Training Run(s) on Dizzy, jumped on Mousewife for a CFO immediately after, and then logged out.
I actually deleted about 15 toons from various friend lists yesterday... toons that I haven't seen in weeks or even months. Why cling to the blue names of toons that aren't coming back? That's the root of my pain. Though I held on to the names of toons that were dear friends that I haven't seen in a long time, the deleted toons were ones I rarely played with even when they were regulars.
PTT, I would love to have a code. Super Dizzy and Little Dizzy are still working cash but Mousewife is currently working sell.
Once I max those 3, what will I do? Here's my dilemma... I made another toon. I had planned not to add any friends to her because I don't want anyone to know it's me. I find it interesting to see how people treat me when I'm on an unknown toon. Oh, I expected people to give strategy tips since she's a low suit... that doesn't bother me. But watching people's behavior in factory and random vps has been truly eye opening. I've seen what I need to see... I may start adding friends to her. She won't go in my sig line because it will still keep some of the mystery. Still undecided on her friending...

Jenn, I have to say I love your post about what Law HQ has done to many good Toons. I unfortunately saw this two days after Law hit open. I also had a group of friends not even realize that I wasn't aboard a CJ elevator with them. At that time, I didn't say anything. Of course two out of the 5 that loaded without me, sent emails or a PM apologizing, that did help, but didn't make me want to go back.
I left open thinking I just wouldn't go back, see I saw this same thing when Cash came out, but not to the same extent! I signed into Test that same night and got a warm welcome from two very dear friends. One eventually left, not because of WOW, but because of Law HQ itself. I still mainly play test, I do one or two DA's early morning and have progressed my suit to BW slowly on open and will only do this once. Test just feels so much different, I do have a full list on Ladi Di, but most are hardly ever on. The people I see everyday on test are probably the only reason I'm still playing. They are a fun group, even though we each have our moody moments.
When I think about Boss HQ coming out in the future, I can't help but wonder if that will break the rest of us old time players. I've seen many good friends come and go, the ones that leave without a word, and the ones that may say lets go fishing, only to tell you their leaving. A year ago I felt I would never put myself into another close TT friendship, I guess I kept that promise to myself until I went to test that night. Sure if these test friends left I'd be quite upset, but decided to enjoy playing with them while they're still there!

I wanted to add my 2 cents here about what Dizzy T said about Law HQ, IMO it isn't that the reward isn't worth something (because the invasions sure help to finish things quickly be it merits, bucks or gag building) or that my friends left playing with me to try to max their law suit out first, it is the actual fighting of the CJ himself that is just BORING. We (my husband and I) have played TT for over a yr and a half, just after Cash HQ came out and we progressed through the game building toons and building suits up to maxing them. Even made secondary toons that are high in laff as well.
When Law HQ first came out on test it was very exciting because we had been waiting for it for so long...when we started doing the CJ battles in the beginning they were really easy, then really tough, then with all the tweaking it just ended up being redundantly blah.
I really enjoyed playing TT but with the addition of Law HQ being such a disappointment and never really wanting to go fight the CJ there really isn't any more advancement (other than fishing and racing) that can be done on our main toons...of course we could always build new toons, but there is only so much of the same tasks that can be done and the same battles that can be fought. I still love doing the VP and CFO a lot, but the CJ really blew it for us in ways to keep us motivated to want to play as much as before.

Try a 5 man with all BW50s... not so boring. Did a 4 man (thankfully had 2 bottom feeders on that one) that was pretty fun, too. The rest of the CJs... 8 man elevators and only being able to stun 2 cogs at a time... yes boring, but a dear friend of mine has taught me the joy of helping others more than I ever have before. Taking my big toon in can sometimes give confidence to the BF1 that I could not give to them if I were on my lower suit. I'm sure we got those 2 bottom feeders to join us on that 4 man cj because of Doug's BW50 suit (I was on my backstabber). Yes, law hq is a yawner, but if you have a friend to work it with, it isn't nearly so bad.

That one is getting as old as my, “I have 5 kids” excuse. Betsy you succumbed to your inner trollness and all your wands of sheep transmogrification and gauntlets of ogre power won’t help you frame this innocent and docile little monkey.

I do think that Law HQ has a lot to do with many being dissatisfied with the game right now. Personally, if I don't find a gardener soon, I may run screaming for the hills myself. Law HQ is tedious and boring for me, I still love VP and CFO, but gardening has really pushed me to the edge. I can't just log in for a quick CFO or VP any more, I'm stuck at my estate digging, planting and watering...over and over and over and over again. It'd probably help if I didn't have so many toons, but I really do play all of them. I can't see this making me go over to ANY other game, but right now TT has certainly lost it's luster for me.

| Dizzy T : | Oh, yes, there is an evildoer in Toontown, and its' name is Chief Justice. And Toontown will never again be the same. |
Isn't this akin to blaming Jack Daniels for (spouse) being an alcoholic? All those people who started acting like jerks when the CJ came out were not doing so because of the CJ; they were doing so because they were jerks in Toons' clothing. Of course: one man's meat...
CJ was just a vehicle by which they could manifest their true natures; he is not a cause.

I don't think that's what she meant to imply. I think she meant that CJ is not that much fun and the rewards for defeating him aren't worth the effort. I don't think she was saying we have mean toons because of LBHQ.

Sounds like it might be time to create The Bottom Feeders Guild (aka The Catfish Guild).
I'm a little embarassed to admit that I haven't been to a CJ on open ever, and not on test since the time when they let anyone in, lol.
