Kevin~
I saw the heading that it was your birthday and came here to post a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you... But instead, it was me who got the gift. Thanks so much for sharing that story.
You most certainly brought a big smile to this tired face of mine, even at 4 a.m.!!! Well,
belated, as well as side-tracked,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
~Michele~
P.S. Heather, that's quite some daughter you have there... Well Done... Kids can teach us 'Ol Fuddy-Duddy's lessons more often than not.

Happy Birthday, Kevin. It's an AWESOME story you shared there. Even more awesome, that you took this to yourself. When we practice these things, we pass them on to our children and leave them with a treasure of the heart that will last a lifetime, both in applications in memories. It's no wonder we all think you are Top-Shelf. I congratulate you! And I agree with other posts here...
YOU RAWK!
Blessins, my friend! See ya!

Wow, just came back here to see what 2 pages of birthday wishes were filled with. I'll definitely pass it on to her. Although the girls are screaming at each other right now, that was a moment that has really made a huge impact on our lives and in the lives of our community. A few of her friends have picked up on it and it has also become a tradition in our synagogue for the kids to sponsor a charity at their Bar/Bat Mitzvah's. It's even spread to other area congregations. It's amazing and uplifting to see how acts of kindness can be so contagious. Maybe this world isn't going to Arizona in a handbag after all

Happy Birthday! What an uplifting story! I think it is awesome when young kids can learn empathy. The parents should be applauded because thats a tough one to teach to some kids! AWESOME!
