Been on this site for a while and just now took the time to write something.
I'm the owner, operator, and caretaker of 2 toons that are nothing alike so let me introduce them to you.
On one hand we have Static. He is a monkey that has gone bananas. Right now I have him locked away at his estate because he has this tendency to beat cogs so bad they they can't be reconized and then makes jokes about them. Don't get me wrong.....he has a great sense of humor but sometimes he can't distinguish what is real and what is inside his head. I have heard that he wants to be a news reporter of something like that. His favorite clothing is a shirt with leaves, matching dress shorts, and belt. Other clothing he sometimes wears on occasion are a level 50 Hollywood Sell Suit, A lower quality Robber Barron Cash Suit, and a bottom of the line Legal Eagle Law Suit. If you see him out roaming the streets approach him with caution. He may end up doing a news report on you.
Then on the other hand we have Sir Glue Stick. He is a 35 laff horse that strives to be like Static but a little more laid back. Even wears the same leafy shirt. He is currently working getting his Hollywood Suit with help from alot of great friends. He should have it when he reaches 40 laff points and then he can move on to getting his Cash Suit.
What was that? You want to know about me? Lets see here......
My name is Darrell and I currently live in the state where I was born, North Carolina. I have a wonderful girlfriend named Ellen that I met on the internet about 7 years ago, yes this really does happen, and we have lived together for 5 without hurting each other even though I bet she would love to beat me senseless sometimes. I'm an electrician by trade even though I never remember saying that was what I wanted to be when I grew up. Well come to think of it I did refuse to grow up so I guess thats ok then.
Well I guess thats my introduction and it all should be true unless I lost my memory when Ellen really did smash me over the head and told me I was who she wanted me to be. Either way its true to me.
See Ya,
Darrell (Static & Sir Glue Stick)

Phew, you guys are trying to have a party without me??? Sheesh!
Here, have some Jell-O shots. There's plenty more where that came from, just come see me on the Lido Deck. Join the limbo contest, avoid the cookies, hide your hairbrush, and say hi to Larry and Daryl for me!

Oh Ang this is scarey I was thinking the same thing! LOL But by the sounds of things he may not remember them, something about being beat by a stick and forgetting things? Have to check his post.
Welcome to the group Darrel, I have very much enjoyed your news post on the other site and have enjoyed reading it to my husband who won't venture over there anymore. You and him have the same warped sense of humor. You will fit in here very well. I will leave it to you to decide if that is such a good thing.

Ahhhh, this is fantastic!
I enjoyed a factory with you last night. Had a good time in spite of the umm, well, err, enough said.
We have a bit in common.
I also run a monkey, although he is of the kind and gentle variety. And extremely stable in all his actions.
(Any comments pertaining to this these denizens spout is completely fictitious.)
But Wait! There's more!
I'm not an electrician but I have been shocked a few times. (No not clinically you five who will ask.)
I also refused to grow up...
I never wanted to work either.
I became a teacher.
My wife, when she is speaking to me, says she'd like to beat me senseless. (No ladies, it isn't a moot point!)
I am glad you're here. Welcome. Always sit in the corner with your back to the wall. Never accept the items offered by the welcome committee. And certainly, at all cost, avoid imbibing any liquids around this joint. I think something got into the well. Perhaps a bit of investigative journalism here for you. Quite a few souls have gone missing of late. Someone ought to look into the wells.

**cough, cough**
Yes, it was very "kind and gentle" of you to grief myself and 6 other unsuspecting sweet and innocent toons right out of your HW50. Stable I do have to agree with, we can pretty much count on being griefed any time we enter an elevator with you.
Watch out for this one Darrell

Electrical shocks aren't that bad. A few rules to remember though.....
1) It only hurts while you are holding the wire that is shocking you. If this happens just let go.
2) Sometimes self electrocution is a good way to wake up or just get rid of that hangover from the night before.
3) Always look around after getting shocked to make sure nobody saw you do something stupid like that.
4) If the power souce can power something bigger than will fit in your hand.....Call a professional. Its more funny to see them get knocked across the room.
5) If you are being shocked and you look around to see people in white lab coats then you are pretty much on your own. There is nobody gonna believe you when you are wearing that sporty white jacket with the sleeves and buckles in the back.

I never wanted to work either.

My main goal in life was to be a burden on society. Being an electrictian was as close as my parents would allow me to get to this.
After I moved out I figured since I've learned this I may as well be a burden on someone elses time.

Hey, don't talk about our TTF "robes" like that! Besides, that's pretty normal (or as close as we can get) for TTF!
