Now that my first to be Uber has a name (Disney doesn't like spaces appariently and prefers to break their own rules by letting me put a capital letter in the middle of a name)? Anyway MissLure has been born! (all baby gifts can be sent directly to her )

My plan WAS to make a 4 track Sell Uber as small as I can. I was thinking throw/squirt/lure and sound. Now I'm rethinking the sound part. (Oh and have a great Doodle on hand....yes I doodle cheat )

Now reading the thread about no sound with ubers...which I already knew but most ubers I've ran with seemed ok with sound.....plus the sounding thru fac's etc.....I'm questioning that choice of gags?

It will probably be a while before this toon is ready to VP as I'm slowly working my way up the high 20's to max Cash on Nanner but she will be pulled out to play every so often and soon I'll have to make that TU/Sound choice. (BTW anyone looking for new uber....or old uber working gags friends give a PM yell. She's so new and has only one friend so far)

So anyone want to talk me into gag choice? Pro's and Cons? Please????? <-----that's as begging as I get besides "KISS ME"

No advice for you as far as gags... Since I'm still not an adult on my 1st toon.. However I am intrigued by this uber thing, and as soon as queen momo is done I might try an uber of my own.

As for friends... PM me a code, and I will gladly help you out working gags etc... (I still need to work trap and tu very much). I always seem to be able to find "Help a new Toon" tasks, so it would help both of us. Plus, you have helped me out so much in the past, I owe you!

Having Lure is a big + to solo/2 person factories and to run with all Ubers.
Fritz ended up 4 on side last night, all Lureless, 100+, 30+, 40+ and 17 laffs in Skeles/VP.
Despite 3 toon miss SoS'es, Uhhh... you can guess what happened

Sound will help you run with randoms. Many sound almost with no regard to laff.
It also makes factories much smoother, a big + when you get into the big suits.

Some feel very bad making a toon without TU. But a well trained doddle can compensate.

Some folks build 3 track ubers with SOUND, and they are great , but lately the 3 and 4 track sounders in the CCG
don't seem to get much of a work out as many are reluctant to sound with a <50 laffer.

If you need any help, pls let me know as I would be glad to lend a hand.

TW is tu/lure. Dusty will be tu/lure only because he is a rescued toon and already had one tu track. Otherwise he would have been sound/lure. He will eventually progress to cash uber. I have a 15 now that seems likely to progress in to a 3track uber with sound. That is - after I win the name game war.

I think it is all what you feel comfortable with. I will always encourage sound (with the exception of CCG runs) if the other 3 toons are maxxed. The thing I hate most of all is inadequate sound and being left staring at four, angry orange skeles. I have gone sad from that as often as lure missing.

You are going to love playing a uber. I doubt I'll ever have a big toon again. I'll be glad to help.

Thanks for the tips guys (and girls) Thinking I'll stick with plan A and do sound with lure. This toon would then plant lure just to add a little xtra safety. (but only one kind of pretty flower at her estate of course ) Now to get a big enough bank to buy a good doodle......

I'm one of the ones posting in that thread... and here is what I have to say. I've already stated I will let an uber lead but if nobody leads, I lead with LLKR ONLY. If an uber requests sound, I sound. When I'm on my uber and sided with toons I trust, after the first 12 is dispensed, the first word out of my mouth is, "Blow" or "I think you should choose sound. No problem." Sound has never bothered me, but then not much does. However, I am VERY nurturing and will do everything I can to protect OTHER ubers. Couldn't care less about my own laff, gags, cards, unites, as long as I can help someone dance, especially an uber. I've never minded going sad on any toon if there was great teamwork, however.

Regarding the type of gag to choose, like Gene said, sound is less of a problem now that doodles can be trained with a trainer. Back when Super Dizzy was still an uber, I chose to grow her laff because I couldn't stand not being able to toon anyone. Now that I have a doodle trainer, I am less likely to worry about whether or not I have TU.

It is possible that I will make a sounding uber soon... still thinking about it...
