My Christmas present to myself came in the mail today, Yay!
Call me a nut, but I ordered the 10th Anniversay Tickle Me Elmo for myself. He's absolutely adoreable. You poke him in the tummy and he goes into a fit of giggles. He grabs his tummy, rolls on the floor and even slaps his hand on the floor all the while giggling, LOL. "You tickled Elmo, hahahaha!" He then brings himself upright takes a big breath and says "Again, again!"
I will be taking him to work on Monday for "show and tell" LOL.

How in the heck did you get one? Thought they were the "it" item this year and going for zillions of dollars on eBay?

I heard about Elmo on the the morning news the day it became available for sale. That same afternoon I called the local toy stores, but they were already sold out. I went online at KB Toys and ordered it there. The price is only $39.95 plus tax and shipping. People bought them up like hotcakes and they were selling them on Ebay for about $100.
Darn shame too because now you can only buy one at a time in the stores or online. They had it on the news about people fighting in the stores over Elmo here. A lady wanted one for her grandchild and a gentleman had to reach up to take it off the top shelf for her and another male customer got mad because it was the last one and HE wanted it. So he punched the gentleman for doing that
Toys R Us doesn't carry it online BTW. If you really want one, keep checking online at KB Toys.

LOL! Cool!
I have no idea how we accomplished this, but my kids have only ever wanted the "IT" toy ONE year in my 16 years of parenting 6 kids! Phew! And that year was pure heck....it was the PS2 slim and we almost had to have Santa leave an IOU...
