Hi all, I'm looking for help with naming my poor black kitty. His name is Burnt Out, but the TT Name nazi doesn't agree... ugh. I've tried Burnt Out, Burned Out Burntout Burn Tout.... maybe another, I can't remember. Anyone have any suggestions on getting it through?

I suggest waiting to resubmit. I think Disney's on a tear atm, rejecting almost every name that passes through.

LOL! Get out of my head, I was going to say that!
I really think if we just wait a bit and let things calm down, maybe some good sense will return. It has to - they are rejecting such perfectly innocent names (yours being one IMO! I love it!) It took several weeks for a couple of my toons names in the past; don't give up yet! But given what all else is going on these days, maybe not trying it for awhile would be good.
Or how about Burned Tout?

I'd wait too, I've got two cats named "Under Review" and sometimes "Name Rejected" as well right now.
How about Bern Towt?

Maybe they just don't like "burned" to be used as a name?? Odd, yes, but we are talking Disney here...

Omit the word Name and just enter Rejected. I saw a 66 laff yellow rabbit named Rejected on open.
Is there a "Rejected Clan" in the works

if you wait and try again names may be accepted? i've tried warlybear twice, finally gave up and deleted it. Decided I didn't like the bear enough to play it if I couldn't name it warlybear, no offense to those who like the bear. I use warlybabe at most sites (except one cuz i forgot the password and had to make a new account with warlygirl lol). i thought warlybear would be a cute and cleaner version but they still rejected it. Am i missing something and using a perverted name without my knowledge? it's bad enough when i do it WITH my knowledge :-" and for those who are curious, warly was derived from the fact that my brother was 2 when i was born and couldn't pronounce Laurie, the name stuck. in fact we are now in our 30's and he still calls me warly, or war for short (unless he neds something, then he calls me Laurie) someone suggested that it may be rejected because it has war in it?
oh and in case you haven't noticed yet, i tend to ramble endlessly, especially while still on my first cup of coffee
maybe try Burr N Tout? (whew! she finally got to the topic :-" )

ROFL! That's not really their names, I meant the ones I keep submitting were "Under Review" while waiting and then I end up getting "Name Rejected" as I submit my names of choice over and over again. I've tried these particular names before and had them rejected till I gave up, this time I'm sticking with it till they tell me to go away or approve them!! Considering I saw two toons named "Karma" and "Sutra" playing together the other day, MY two names are sacchrine in comparision. I don't see anything wrong with ANY of the spellings of Burnt Out, but apparently Disney has lost it's sense of humor lately.
Oh and warlybabe...yes you can resubmit your names as long as you can stand it. I spoke with someone last week that took 4 MONTHS trying and finally got the name she wanted. Persistance MIGHT be the key, but who knows?!

I'm really irked, too. I've never had so many problems getting a name approved! Names they have rejected for my black cat on test, who is now working Brrrgh tasks:
Bastet
Bastet the Cat
The Cat Bastet
De Cat Bastet
Eight of Nine
Nancy the Salt Monster
The Grin Reaper
Currrently under consideration by the "toon council" is:
Twas the Salmon Mousse
Sorely tempted to submit:
D.N. Quisition
Black Death
Bubonic Plague

Mousewife took 5 submits and an email to get approved. Spilled Milk (a former horse of mine that was immediately approved) took 4 submits to get approved for my newest black kitty. I tried one name 17 times before finally giving up, and after an email they replied with the normal horse hockey "check our rules" of which the name submitted fell well within their guidelines. What made me most upset was at the time I was trying to get that name approved, I saw a bunny running around named, "Helena Handbasket." Tell me how THAT NAME got approved? Hello? Speak English?????

Nope....Rejected was approved! First try! I was very surprised. I saw another one in the Brrrgh (black cat) and it stunk me for having the same name. Hmmmm I made mine months ago (even if it is only 20 laff at the moment)

I had a good laugh one day when I saw a duck on test named Duck Buddy. I only saw him once, so he may have lost his name, although he might just be lying low.

Wow, it took my black toon, Flash flood 13 tries to get the name submitted. I had tried Flashflood, Flash flood, Flashflud, Flash flud, and then it finally got approved. Yeah, Disney sure seems to reject almost every name now!

Twas the Salmon Mousse was rejected, so I am trying Ada Songbird. If that fails, then Ada Bird. If that fails, Lieutenant Yarn.
