Just a quick warning to not leave your toon sleeping in the tunnel in Sell HQ. Today I ran into the tunnel, and ran downstairs to grab a Coca-cola, came back and a red cat named evan was pushing me out of the tunnel, into the cog path. I watched as he got me engaged in a battle, then he joined. Then, I realized he only joined to make more cogs come. When there were 3 there, he tped away. Of course I followed him to DG, and said "That wasn't nice" , he then said "Sorry!". I think he was only sorry that he got caught.

Owoooo!! With gags like that he surely can't afford to be battling on his own! Sorry you had a run in with this "toon" Skip...he'll learn soon enough that reputation spreads quickly on test! Glad you got back in time to bust him!!
Hugs!

I remember Evan from the first time he was a DG toon, fully suited and wanting to join us in VP, we had a group of eight or we would have happily taken him. If I remember right we had to switch districts due to him causing a shuffle trying to get on with our full group.
Here's a Screen Shot Skip of the time he and 2 others thought nothing of taking a building we were standing by waiting on Jaci. Aunt Bee was 87 LPs so that was looong ago!
Guess Evan hasn't read the code of Etiquette for test, maybe it'll sink in when no one will help him?

eek! I think I befriend him? I may have unfriended him b/c it was all about him, which annoyed me. Now I'm going to have to go look.

Not a silly question....they used to have it on the front page of the website, but I haven't seen it there in quite a while. I HAD seen it on our test site's front page, but just looked and it's gone from there. So, if you go on over to Toontown Test Server, and click play, I was able to see a spot that says to sign up for test listed underneath the log in area. Let me know if that works. I have other friends that have asked that question also.
That doesn't automatically give you an account, you'll have to wait on TT after that. I waited I think 2 or 3 weeks, but others have waited for months....Depends on if Disney sees a need for more toons I guess.

Disney only accepts new "test toons" when they are about to release new content. When they are looking for people, they usually put a link on the front page of open, but that link only gets you to the waiting list. When they need you as a tester, they will send you an email with the log in and password for your new test account. I know people who have been on the waiting list for over a year. I personally waited over a year for my first account there. I don't remember if they accepted new testers last year for the charming bears... but if so, then they may for pigs this year (Think big, Vote PIG!). I think the next big release will be Boss HQ, and that is probably a few months away at least. When there is a new influx of testers, we know there is something "new" about to be released.

Timing seems to be a big part. I applied for Test when others were testing Cash HQ. I had two accounts I'd say in less than two weeks from applying. I had to play both accounts together to get anywhere when I first started playing test. It isn't for everyone, some days you wont see anyone on, then other days it's quite busy. Being I started right after Cash hit open, I don't think I saw anyone until my two toons were in DDL. I wouldn't have advanced past Donalds Dock if I couldn't run two together. I love the test atmosphere, normally very quiet, I still find myself playing both accounts when no ones on, but also have great friends that play test rather than open too!

It appears from the screenshot that you were on the other side of the street. So, how did they know you were waiting on someone and that you planned on going into that building? Maybe you should stand in front of the building and let them know you are waiting on a friend. Just my opinion.

That building was the Sleeping Beauty Parlor. This particular building has no side walk for anyone to TP to you. Even when you recover that building you step out onto the street, or when just going there for a task, same thing, half the time right into a cog. It's been a while since that screen shot, but for me to remember I even took it had to be because they stepped on it knowing we were going to. Of course I know there is no rules about standing by a building and it's rightfully yours, but most people on test would ask if you wanted help not just jump in the elevator.

Off topic...sort of....
I wait 4 months for the first account...then got a second account and that one approved less than 2 weeks. I "stopped" around the brrrgh with the one account (two toons at that level)...that Love Letter killed me..... never was any buildings there!
Second account - moved a toon over and kept at it... running 2 accounts saved my bacon...LOL
You have to start with a new toon....they won't move your OPEN toons to TEST.
