Just now in Cashbot HQ and I see a bunch of toons hanging out on the tracks getting smooshed. I check - their laff points are going down down down... We're not talking newbies - one who went sad was 128 laff! Is there something cool about doing this?!?! Maybe I'm missing something, I don't know... We're talking at least 10 toons.

It takes so long to heal, I just don't know why you'd do that on purpose!

Well, if you want to walk the same speed as a Cog, getting smooshed and ALT-F4ing out before you get to the playground makes you sad in the HQ. Goons will do the same thing in Sellbot HQ and Lawbot HQ. That gets you walking slow, so the Cog Suits walk the same as a Cog. Other than that, they're just having a party.

Off topic: In other news, I recently encountered another One Story Nightmare (See the Screenshots & Stories forum) in Donald's Dream Land. This time I went in with a 64 Laffer, and the building was Bossbot. Waves and waves of Cogs again, but this time we came prepared. We squashed the three Level 12 The Big Cheeses and some other random Cogs. Of course, what would it be without a Level 1 Flunky standing with a Corporate Raider's arm on its head? The building, just like those poor/happy Toons, was smooshed.

Maybe they are bored? I do admit to using the trains to get my laff down low for a "special' kind of cfo run (one where you only bring certain gags and your laff is LOW) makes things a little different and more exciting Very Happy

Also, doesn't take long to get your laff back up if you have and estate full of well trained ddl doodle...just takes a few seconds Smile

I didn't think about that.. Out of my 5 toons, there's only two doodles at my estate, I just aquired a new DDL doodle for Loopy Nicklegoose.

If these toons were bored, I dunno... a few actually went right down to -1 and departed. I could see the logic if they went down a bit for the funny CFO run, but to go completely sad?

One particularly bad day last year, my friend John and I were just ticked at the world. Both of us were "topping" each other about how much life sucked at that point in time. We needed a way to get it out of our system, so we devised a game.

We ran over to Cash HQ. Here were the rules. There was no stopping... none whatsoever. You just run and run and run and hope you get squashed by a train. You were not allowed to pause before, on, or after the tracks to give yourself a better shot at getting squashed. You could also not turn around to catch a train but had to run forward only. We had a "judge" there to watch us. If anyone stopped or turned around, they were automatically disqualified. We ran for at least 10 minutes up and down those train tracks. Part of the focusing on one thing helped relieve stress, the SQUOOSH of the train running over you relieved some of the stress, the race to get to a train before it passed by relieved some of the stress. In the end, we both went sad at the same time. I still say I should have won because I was 123 laff at the time and he was 106.

Thats really retarted if you ask me! Laughing They pretty much lost life, gags (including the big gags) and they have to take all their time to get their gags back. Rolling Eyes This is obviously not cool or something to do. Laughing

Not everybody cares about the gags. It is, after all, just a GAME.

After searching high and low, forum to forum...I FOUND the answer you all seek.
Took this quote directly from the horses mouth...and NO I did not change the username either... LOL

Not just blonde... Also a dodo :

Daily Train Killings!

Ever thought killing yourself could be fun? Now it can! Join us as we kill ourselves daily from the trains at Cashbot HQ! It's fun, seriously, even if you think it isn't. We pretty much go and stand there, laughing our heads off, then see everyone back in the playground (some days we will also have boss battles after). It also confuses the people in the district (we go to an ideal one) which is funny. They just stand there and stare at you. If a low laffer sees they may join in. And guess what?!? YOU DON'T EVEN LOSE YOUR GAGS! It says you do, but you don't. This will hopefully be a multi-fansite event, with people coming from 3 different fansites! Our goal is to make these as fun and common as Jellybean Fests! You can bring unites to give everyone, and depending on how long people stay, get tooned up, go back, and do it again! Please be sure to bring lots of sugary foods Very Happy

Times:
Eastern: 5pm
Central: 4pm
Mountian: 3pm
Pacific?: 2pm
GMT?: 1pm

District: Nuttyville, that's the district the first Train Killing occured in on January 6th, 2007. Smile
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE! (they begin/began January 7th, 2007)

Ok - there are clearly more ways to have 'fun' on Toontown than I thought Smile
I'd definitely want confirmation that you don't lose your gags, though (I don't mind the usual ones but I'm feeling mighty protective of my level 7 gags these days!).

Loopy - another way that is easy to toon up is to have completed tasks. Once a toon is done with the mandatory tasks, I always take simple 'Just for Fun' tasks for cogs. So, I generally have 2 or 3 completed ones at a time. This way, a simple trip to HQ Officer will fix me right up! Certainly helps with revenge runs!!

Because the cogs take away your gags but they were killed by a train Wink
