I'm not kidding!  I just read on Wikipedia that the inventor of the cogs was some crazy duck named Gyro Gearloose! The project was funded by another madtoon named Scrooge Mcduck! I wish I knew more. I'll have to look into this! Let me know if you find anything else out.

Next you'll tell us you don't know the names of Donald's nephews.Sounds to me like this toon hasn't been studying their history.I think for the next month you should be restricted to Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck books and only allowed to go to Disney sites on the internet.

I am not sure if it is still there, but there used to be a movie when you installed Toon Town. As I recollect, the movie showed that Scrooge McDuck had a scientist working for him. This scientist invented the cogs. Well, Scrooge McDuck was stumbling around in the laboratory and he connected two wires on one of the cogs, and the cog was activated. The cog then activated all of the machinery, and unleashed cogs on toon town.
