So we sell our fish to the Pet Shop and they say they will love them, but what are they used for? Are they Doodle food? Do they just display thousands of fish that are caught daily?
Inquiring minds want to know?!?!?!

I always wondered the same thing
I vaguely remember part of the hype around the new fishing was that Toons were going to be able to get aquariums for their estates. Then we could buy the fish. Next thing I knew we had that tiny fishbowl you could buy in the cattlelog.

But the biggest peeve I have is the way they cover up the cruel fate of all those fish you catch. They say they're for the pet shop. Well, that much is true, but they're not being sold as pets. Have you ever seen a fish for sale? No, just Doodles. And it's those very doodles that are EATING ALL THE FISH! That's right. Doodles eat the fish. It's the only logical explanation. Why do you think the pet shops need so many fish? What do you think all the doodles live on? Jellybeans? I don't think so! Sure, they're a nice treat, but do you really think a fully grown doodle could survive on a couple jellybeans tossed to it now and then? No way. They're living off the fish in your pond.
So the next time you catch a cute little puppydog fish, think twice before you send it off to its terrible fate as some doodle's dinner. |

That is not really the reason. It has to do with his playing style and his sense of humor. He kind of sits there like a rock and his humor...well....he is about as funny as a rock
