Attention Toons over age 13! Toontown is now integrated with the new Disney XD on Disney.com!

Here's what we need you to do to take advantage of the new features:
Log into play.toontown.com and verify your account name and password. It is possible that you may be prompted to choose a new account name. If so, please go ahead and complete that process. Do not start playing Toontown yet!
Go to Disney XD on Disney.com and log in using your Toontown account name and password and create a D-Name.
Set your chat permissions in DXD to allow True Friends (was Secret Friends) through the "Open Chat With Unlimited True Friends" option under the Communication Preferences Tab in your DXD Account Manager. *** Please Note *** By default your new DXD account will have the same chat permissions as your Toontown account.
Create and exchange DXD True Friend Codes (was Secret Friends) with people you know who have also created a D-Name. You'll then be able to Chat with your True Friends no matter where either of you are in the Disney.com network, including from within Toontown.
Log into Toontown and chat with your new D-Name friends.

Once you have some True Friends, we want you to check out the new Friends List features.
Friends listed in green are SpeedChat friends, and those listed in blue are True Friends (was Secret Friends) who you can chat openly with. This color scheme better matches the colors of the OpenChat and SpeedChat buttons.
Player Friends will be highlighted in BOLD when they are logged into Toontown.
The Friends List also has new tabs:
Online Toon Friends - This list only your Toontown friends who are currently online, by Toon name.
All Toon Friends - This lists all of your Toontown friends, by Toon name.
Online Player Friends . This list only your Disney.com account friends who are currently online, by D-Name.
All Player Friends . This lists all of your Disney.com account friends, by D-Name.
Each Friends List tab now sorts alphabetically within each color group.
Toontown True Friends codes will now have a "TT" prefix to better differentiate them from DXD True Friends codes.

Woopeee!! What I have been waiting for all my TT life!! Finally!

Good grief! I try to log in and now after 4 years it wants me to create a new account name. What's stupid I tried to use my Disney account name and it tells me it is already in use. Duh! It's mine.

It's supposed to work with your TT account name and password, but I can't get it to work for me, go figure! LOL Tried customer service and well that didn't work either. I have to say that while I have mixed emotions about XD, it will free up some friend room (once it works) on some of my toons and that's always a good thing!

My name and password also wouldn't work. I had them email me my username and got some very long username with a lot of numbers at the end. I won't be putting those names to memory. I don't like having my friends in ABC order. It was nice to see who has been on my list the longest and who the new friends are. Maybe I will think of an A name next so I can be at the top of everyone's list.

I'm so excited...and I just can't hide it....I'm about to lose control and....I think I like it? (NOT)!

Didn't think they'd make a mini game out of your friends list. That sounds unbearably complicated to me, but hey, at least I'm smarter than a 5th grader. Anyone watched that show yet?

HEY! When did I become griefed by mods? Well.....always....but I mean under my name thingy.

I found last night that I'm NOT smarter than a 5th grader I did however get the 2 math questions right First time I watched it. Kinda fun.

Disney XD however seems you do need to be a 5th grader to figure it out! Has anyone gotten it to really work?

If it helps, my 5th grader was not able to help out with figuring out how to make it work, but we did love playing the TT Trivia game! The scramble game was tough and my son was shocked at how fast I got them... well um, I am an adult.

As for being smarter than a 5th grader - the questions I got wrong last night were NA on the periodic table and the largest bear. I kept telling my son it was a Grizzly Bear Acuda.

I am sometimes smarter than a 5th grader, but cannot seem to figure out the XD.
There are some tricky questions on that show! But, it might help that I help my fifth grader with her homework every night

Mine was NOT the same by default, and gave me Arizona when I tried to deal with that.

I did get XD to work finally last night and it certainly has some benefits for us as far as the friends list goes since our home toons no longer have to be TT friends, but XD friends instead. The chat feature is doable on it for sure, but not really useful in battle as your XD friends cannot see what you say outloud, it must be said in whisper, if that makes any sense... Oh, well it's another feature I guess.

BTW loved that show, it would be fun to watch with the kids!

My husband (bless him) got this question wrong: How many states border the Pacific Ocean. I had it in a heartbeat, he forgot some.

For those of you who found you couldn't use your TT user name and password... try again today. I emailed them yesterday after not being able to use any of the TT logins. I finally made an account, but then I couldn't link it to any of my TT accounts. I was extremely frustrated. I submitted a bug report and was told to call customer service. I didn't even bother doing that. But I tried this afternoon to log in to DxD with my own TT accounts, and I was able to for some reason. Then spent the next hour annoying Little Fancy Pedalwhip's toons by trying to figure out what I could do on Dxd. hehehe. Really wish you could secret chat to toons on your list w/o having to whisper to them if they are just on your dxd list. I must say I'm not too excited about this way to expand your friend's list?

Where do I find "Account Manager" to be able to set my chat options using the "Communications Preferences Tab"? I must be missing something, because after I log on I do not see anything to click on about managing my XD account to be able to do this:

Thank you PTT ... it worked

Is anyone else having a problem with the XD site itself? Sometimes I just get a blank screen and a bunch of nothingness. Occasionally I can get on, and I was able to finally log on, but then I had some windows error and the browser closed up on me. Next time I tried - the nothing screen again - UGH!
