Kippy and Lady Z were a little impatient after finishing their bucks and went to the shuffle district to find a run. The shuffle was TOO bad so we started asking friends to join us elsewhere. We were quickly joined by my hubby, Baron Von Loopengrooven; Roxy (Silly Goopy's wife), and Granny Pickles. I convinced hubby we could do it with 5 "especially if we are on the same side!!" and off we went.
You might have guessed just then that we were NOT on the same side, and you would be right!
Not only that, he was with Kippy, while the 3 over 110 laffers were on the other together. Since he IS new here, he was a bit skeptical, but again I convinced him he could do it.
We did make it through the battle. Kippy and Baron were awesome together, working pretty much like a well-oiled machine, while the three of us in our rush to finish and help were the tards of the century!!
(AND we could secret chat! Figure that one out
) As you might also guess, they were done before we were and came to save our tired toons.
Unfortunately Baron DC'd right after the cog round dance. Shortly into the crane round Granny Pickles DC'd as well. I wish I had time to get pics during these crazy CFO runs, this was one of the worst goon swarm runs I have ever seen!! Kippy, yes Kippy the "not quite ready for prime time" craner
(YOu are WAY too hard on yourself girlfriend!!), was AWESOME on the crane as was Roxy! I tried my best to protect and provide treasures. The goons were SO thick that often one jump would stun 3 or 4 goons at once!! At the end he had a safe on for what seemed like forever with him blinking red. I got sucked onto a crane just as the safe came off and noticed there was not a live goon to be found around my crane - a miracle! So I nabbed a nearby goon and tossed it. Victory was ours!!!
I say every one of these runs is the best ever but this one really takes the cake because of the goon swarm!! WOW I was on an adrenalin high for the rest of the afternoon. AWESOME run guys!!
