I know you'd be watching the series if you were back home...  The Wings go on to battle it out with The Anaheim Ducks, so this will be a good series to watch!! First game this Friday at 7:30pm Eastern...in Detroit.

WAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I am so sad now  . My team just couldn't pull it out to save their season...oh well, there is always next year I guess. Now I have to decide who I am going to root for for the rest of the season...

They won 2-1 over the Ducks!!

WHY?!? THEY have a great team, they ended up in first place in the regular season for the Western Conference. They have won the Stanley Cup 3 times in the past 10 years...2001-02, 1997-98, and 1996-97. They are a great team. Would love to have seen Stevie Yzerman out there with them still...sure do miss him.
They are hot...LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!

Wow I register and look what I find... a thread about my favorite thing the whole wide world... HOCKEY
I'm a lifelong and raised Kings fan. Hubby's a Penguins fan, our 5 year old is a Stars fan, and the newborn is to young to care (give her till October, lol)
Sorry but I'm going for the Ducks at this point in the playoffs. 
That was a heck of a game last night though, this is going to be a good series game wise.

I agree...it's going to be a great series! Wings lost last night BTW....BOOO!!!!! Series is tied at 1-1.
I've loved hockey since I was a teenager...LOVE THOSE RED WINGS!!! I have a couple of nephews that will hopefully up and coming one day. The scouts are out there often to see them...one is going onto college on a hockey scholarship, and his brother plays just like him. (20 and 16 years old.) Gotta love HOCKEY TOWN!!

I actually have a game to go to tonight... hubby plays goal for his team at the city's ice rink.
In our home there is never a shortage of hockey to watch either it's hubby at his games (year around) or NHL.
For us it's not a sport, it's a way of life.
