School is still in session? Geeshh! We've been out for over 2 weeks now!
I will probably be there - gotta check Mimi's merits.

We end in late June and start either the Tuesday or Wednesday after Labor Day (changes each year). We get a week off in February and we also get all the major Jewish holidays off. I know my neice in CA doesn't get off from school for the Jewish holiday, so maybe that (plus the week in Feb for no reason) is the difference. We have 180 days the kids are in school over the months.

I will try to be at the late vp and possibly the cj tonight. The 8:30 is just too early for me as I'm usually reading to the kids and then kissing them goodnight at about 8:40. Although tonight my husband has not returned with them from the swim meet yet. Hmmm.... Wonder where they are?
ps- we have school til Friday as well - but only half days.

The one thing I will say for TTFers - they are intrepid!!
We went in with just 4 toons - one without lure and one uber. Funny, the uber and lureless toons were sided together both times. We were going great guns. My side had just finished the skeles and we were rushing to the other side. They were taking mad hits so I pulled out a max tu phrase just a fraction of a second too late. Although, the uber was happy to be back on the playground at full laff !
The 3 (Crazy Boo Boo, Squeak E Valentine and Mimi McSqueak) of us pushed the big guy over the edge for a win.

Yes, I was happy not to have to fill up the laff meter. I survived the four cogs hitting the previous round with one laff. Yes a perfect for griefing, eh. Then the last magnet I had left missed and that was the end of my little toon. No biggie as it happens with the ubers. Anyone thought of tracking our win percent? I'm sure for the most part it is pretty high. 3/4 danced in that one starting us at 75%.
Although I did notice that gags were missing a lot yesterday. In fact, I don't think my TU worked but half the time. Good thing you didn't bring your lure out Quigley!

Congratulations on the win you guys! It must of been hard for those ubers to be paired up. Loopy saves the day!

So which is it? I show and others DO or DO NOT? Sheeesh. I'm blamed if I show...waiting to be blamed cuz I didn't I haven't made a run in a few days and it seems no one is showing up...ok you had 4 this time but wasn't the CFO the night before a no go? The cute ducks are a bit busy the last few and then again today but should lighten up their schedule after tonight. Hope to get back into the swing of TTF runs real soon!
Of course there is that pesky thingy about needing merits/bux and notices. Luckily the bux/merits needed are still teeny ones.

The CJ was a no go either. Showed up and no one came. Must be a busy week for your TTF parents and others who have sports and such. So I just went back to my reading of Harry Potter.

Sandra - my apologies for a few oops gag picks. I was hoping Squeak E Valentine had better SOS toons, but alas, other than restock sound, they are icky. I wish we had a phrase that says "Sorry I was distracted" because one of my munchkins kept distracting me last night!
Hehehheeeee... Post 666 eh? Maybe it's best to stop posting for awhile LOL
