GRRRRRRRRRRRRR I spent half an hour trying to go fight the V.P. and never did get to go. Why do people waste time jumping on and off the elevator? I would like to find 7 other people who are committed to playing TT, and go to a location where we can go fight the V.P. without having to play "Elevator Waste Your Time".

Check out the CCG (Cold Caller Guild) schedule on this website. They meet at certain times every day and evevator jumping is AGAINST the RULES! It does occassionally happen with people who aren't true member, but not much. Plus their winning rates are very high (95% or higher)

Your not allowed to elevator shuffle. Your stuck with whatever you go in with so don't jump off at the last minute. Some people hate it so much they ban you and send nasty PMs. Not to scare you or anything.

I ran about 6 VPs in River today. Didn't have much shuffle compared to the CFO...it was crazy...then 129 griefer with a 114 (?) friend tried to kill 80 laff but we had the last laff...Right Princess Boo Boo?

Only problem on the VP was when a 25 laffer was treated badly...shuffle and stinkiness... I stayed behind and the next group took him in and made sure he danced! It is a little easier for me with a HW50 but that didn't make a difference in the CFO.

Done many 4 man VP and CFO and my main toon is lureless. You just need toons who know how to play and good teamwork.

I can understand the alt F4 thing if the doors close and you have fewer than 4. But you are right, the shuffle thing is tiresome. Sadie is working on the 5500 merits and it takes her a little longer, but anytime you want to go and I'm available, I'll go with you!

I'm part of CCG too, and the others on that forum are pretty strict about the shuffle thing. One toon flat out said in their post that they would only shuffle for a friend, and the rest of the board pretty much told them if you shuffle, no thanks. Unfortunately, it is a public game, and you can't control everyones behavior (darnit!) and I think a lot of the shuffle is a result of people's friends TP in and not knowing it's a CCG run.

The other biggest pet peeve of mine is the big suits standing in front of the elevator in CHQ. They block the whole door and the timer so you don't know everyone's left until the door has closed. I know a couple of them think it's a real laugh, I had a friend (someone on my friends list anyway) do it at a VP run one day a couple of months back (she was a big suit, nearly maxxed) and she whispered "watch this" or something to that effect, and loaded, waited for everyone else (5 little suits and 2 mid) then exited as the timer hit 0. Then she kept whispering "hee hee" and "ha ha". I rarely stink people, but I did tell her "stop that" and "that wasn't nice" a couple of times. When I finally loaded and stayed on, she loaded and stayed and didn't do that again, but a few days later left my list. No great loss I say.

Yes, a three toon is fun (of course you should be with people you know). Of course it never fails I'm on the one side when I do these One of these days, when I actually get some TU unites, I have a friend who has solo'd the VP and she wants to do a 2 toon with me. That should be interesting Also wants to do a 2 toon CFO which I'm game for....it's only beans! I need another marathon CFO day

I agree PBB! I'm finding I want to do the VP less and less lately and I have no idea why. It can be as much fun with the right people and the cog part seems to be shortened but the risk just isn't there anymore (unless I'm sided with a certain orange mouse) so it makes it less interesting for me these days. Guess I'm starting to get TT jaded?

I've only been on maybe a handfull of CCG runs in the last year and one was just the other night (friends requests when I go) and I found it to be a whole lot different than when I use to run with them. Don't need a full load but when a big suit jumps at the last second it's NOT CCG.
