Years back I some how made a bunch of my music files into Winamp format.
I need to convert them to MP3's and for the life of me I can't find a way to do it.
I was told to put them on a disc and reload them back onto my PC... anyone know a good program that will work or the ability to walk me through it? It's not working for me.
I miss my favorite songs and it would be nice to listen to them on my walks/run when I go on them and I just can't bring myself to exercise with out them anymore (LOL).

You don't necessarily need a program to convert your old songs. I have quite a few "older" versions which play well. If you feel strongly about using a program, do an internet search (use dogpile.com or for the archaic types, google.com) and see what's out there. Good luck!
I would do what your friend suggested, though, and save them on your PC.

A winamp format? What format is that? I do not know of any proprietary music format for winamp like .WMA is for windows media audio. They do save their play list in .pls format tho.
But what format is this you are referring to?
