I'm a level 1 lawbot for the CJ runs, and today there was another level 1 lawbot. We were trying to do a CJ run with the CCG, but the elevator shuffle game started. It might just be me, but it seemed as though nobody wanted to get on the elevator with us level 1's. So I said "Whatever" after the fourth time of having to jump off the elevator and left. So much for rule #1.

Any level 1's would like to meet up so we can get some levels under our belts so the higher level toons won't feel so compelled to jump off the elevator when we get on?

I'd like to meet up with you. Lady Snappy has only won the cj about 2 or 3 times. Let me know when is a good time. Funny, I had looked up the CCG schedule for the first time today and thought about going, but home issues got in the way.

Elevator shuffle should NOT be happening on CCG runs. That is one of the golden rules with CCG.

Just a suggestion, but you might want to consider joining us on our CJ runs Monday and Thursday evenings. You might want to change the title of your post to "CJ runs" or something.

I wish they found out who did the shuffling and kicked them out of CCG.

I know when I bring my mouse I like having some little suits on the vator as it makes it easier for everyone going. I'm not sure why there was so much shuffle as I've seen some, but not like you are describing. In fact, I was gonna do the VP a bit ago, but was left with me and one other toon, which is fine as the mouse is maxed and the other toons were not. I wouldn't give up on it, and I have to say I've had good luck in the CJ with the CCG for the most part. Of course, things happen just as they could a random run in river. I was also a BW before I started going.

Like Granny said come to our runs as we are usually hunting down friends on our lists to try and get enough for the CJ. Once you figure out when to jump (have sound on) then it is really very easy (with good teamwork) and quite boring all at the same time. Very Happy

Pretty much any time is a good time for me lol. I'm in TT every day. Tell you what, you give me the day, time and location to meet and we will meet. For example; Monday July 16, noon (Eastern Time), Boingy Falls, The Brrrrrr at the pet shop.

I never been in the CJ before so I may need a time or two to figure out what it is I have to do. hahaha just a fair warning =P

Elevator shuffle is not allowed. You should of got their name and told a Moderator or someone in charge. They HAVE to go in with whatever they get and not allowed to jump off- unless you have to log off or something....

Hey!! Evil or Very Mad I resemble that remark! It was the lag, I tell ya... the lag!

Seriously, consider joining us on our runs. We're all a bunch of "stinky" toons who don't mind taking newbs along for their first ride. Just don't ask me for advice about tossing the evidence. Granny's arm's been afflicted with arthritis or something!

Okay, set up a day, time, and place we can meet in TT so that we can be friends. I'm on everyday so anytime is good for me. I can be TF's with people, I don't bite... at least not hard, and never more than three times within an hours time. Razz MUAHAHAHAHAHA

Well, that sounds great but the 3000 whatever notices I need aren't going to make it possible anytime soon. If I do manage to get them I might save them for Monday. I did forget to add that it is not boring when Granny goes in. In fact, I have never laughed so much in the CJ as I did the one time she fought the big, bad CJ with us.

LOL oh boy I am looking forward to having to get 3000 whatever notices. Does it take a long time? I'll go on Lawbot HQ runs with ya; those are always fun.

That's really messed up. I've only seen shuffling on a ccg run once, and I just left. I'm not sure what they're problem was, but just forget about them. Normally the runs aren't like that, so you should just try again. Hope it works out next time!

I visited the forum on the other site, and they recommended getting a screen shot, and sending it to the mods. They also mentioned that with it being summer and such that people come to runs, and their friends TP in not knowing it is a CCG run, and then get spooked. Also, they seem to think randoms wind up popping in, seeing a largish group of toons and just join in, not knowing it's CCG. It is still no excuse for big suited toons crowding the elevator doors, blocking the timer, but not loading on (grrr!).

There seems to be a common misconception about CCG runs in general. First of all, lets remember that the CCG is only a clan of individuals that go fight the Bosses together AND have no control whatsoever over who attends their scheduled runs. It is up to each person in attendance to behave and follow the guidelines set by the group. If someone or some toons decide they are gonna shuffle, sadly, there is really nothing that can be done to stop it. Thats why the CCG encourages those in attendance to fill the elevators and try not to let them go short handed. I'm not a CCG ambassador or anything close to it, but I do attend alot of runs and this is exactly what I do to try to help with the loading process. Also, don't let someone's suit size be an indication of their ability to fight the boss. Some in small suits have many max toons and some of those in big suits could have gotten there by coattailing. The only way to find out would be to mix it up in battle with them.

As far as reporting those that you feel are not abiding by the established guidelines, a screenshot and a short narrative about the incident gives the ambassador an idea of what occurred and what action needs to be taken. Understand that they can only send the offending toon a PM (providing they are reachable) about their actions. Once that is done, we can only hope they correct that action or don't show up anymore. Not much more can really be done.

Also, as was mentioned in another post, summer time is here and seems to be more of the 'random' element around Toontown. As randoms go, we know they are a bit unpredictable to say the least and just have to endure it for the time being.

I have also noticed there is more trouble on the weekend evenings in general. I'm not sure what is up with that, but seems to be my observation.

But! In any case, be sure to go the the Toontown Friends Run thread and pencil yourself in to go to the boss battles with us! We definitely need more CJ-ready toons as that is the most difficult one to get a full elevator for. Well, we sometimes don't have full elevators for the others, but no one really minds there! CJ is more tricky with less than 6 or 7 toons.

Well said, Nunya, and good to see you again! Smile

I'm not an ambassador for CCG, either, and usually end up going on their runs through friends. They have a great concept, which has worked more often than not. Unfortunately, as it was pointed out, you can't control random toons (like Littlespike Laughing ).

Miss Pouty is right, too, about having full elevators for CJ. We have a run scheduled tonight at 10:45 EST (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong) so bring your wee toon! We can't guarantee you'll dance, but we can guarantee you'll laugh!

It's also a lot more fun when you have those either random toons or toons who might be CCG but are still clueless. It makes it more of a challenge to get everyone through especially at the VP where very low laff toons can participate. I like being able to try and help little suits/little toons through. Although when I bring MST, I often wonder how much help she is without lure which is used most of the time. Very Happy Of course when someone bugles a row of big cogs there isn't much anyone can do except take out as many as possible. That's where the "What are you thinking?" phrase everyone would like to have sure would come in handy.

I prefer asking, "Are you on crack!?" Somehow I doubt Disney will ever consider using that one.
