These past few days I have been running tasks w friends in Sell Factory. (To avoid jury notices ) Everytime we came to the warehouse and went to run in the door way to the stairs. We would be sucked through the floor straight to the cogs or to other parts of the warehouse. WHY does TT ask to report issues if they claim the issues are ALWAYS our fault?? ITs ALWAYS my computer?? Just writing to check if my magical machine was the only one sucking EVERY body throught the floor or putting them outside the door hehe. Thanks all.

I think the issue might be the fact that there's a glitch that has been going on for a while where you engage the cogs early. That happened to me at the warehouse too. BTW, does anyone know if they're trying to fix that problem?

It was an issue on TEST for weeks before it hit OPEN. We ...the test account holders... thought it was a bug and reported it. Same issue in the Mints too...so be careful when approaching the cogs.
everyone must have the same computer issues....

Did you update your drives?
Yes, the testers complained about this. Very annoying

I hate that they engage early, but...I thought it was funny that I was sucked up through the floor.

Yes, Beth has a habit of coming up through the floor in the warehouse lately. But when I engaged the cogs, I did it from downstairs, I only got half way through the room where the stairs are, and POOF! Up I went...

Dear Toontown Guest,
Thank you for your recent inquiry.
Based on the information you submitted to us in your bug report, it
appears that you may be experiencing some latency or "lag" in your
Internet connection. Latency is determined by the amount of time it
takes your computer to talk to the game server (commonly referred to as
a "ping"). This has nothing to do with bandwidth, so even the high end
broadband connections sometimes have latency problems. Latency is not
something that can easily be changed.
If you connect to the Internet through a proxy, that will greatly
increase your latency since first you need to talk to the proxy then the
proxy talks to the game server. If you are connecting through a proxy,
please try disabling your proxy or contact your network administrator
(or Internet Service Provider) for additional instructions on optimizing
your proxy configuration.
Through our experience, we have found that users that utilize high speed
Internet connections (DSL, cable modems, and satellite) often experience
less latency than those on dial-up connections. This may not be an
option for all of our users or you may already be on a broadband
connection, so another option is to keep your computer running smoothly.
One good way to do this is to free up as much RAM as possible. RAM
(memory) stands for Random Access Memory. Toontown requires at least
128MB (Megabytes) of RAM, but we recommend 192MB or more to get the best
experience. It is important for the RAM you have in your computer not to
be taken up by other programs. By closing other programs before entering
Toontown, you will free up more RAM to be used by the game. You also can
usually upgrade the amount of RAM in your computer relatively easily.
You can purchase and have RAM installed at your favorite computer store
or through your computer vendor.
In addition, Disney's Toontown Online utilizes the latest 3-D features
of current video cards. It's helpful to stay current with your video
card's latest software drivers.
We hope this helps and look forward to seeing you again soon in
Toontown!
Thank You,
Mark

Description:
When entering into Sellbot Factory and running to the doorway of the Warehouse. We are being pulled through the floor instead of running up the stairs to the cogs. This has
happened in all districts I have played today. Also all the toons who are there thanks.
After that I left a message to them. That their responses are bogus and I just wont report issues anymore. I have DSL not dial up and the only time I lag is when my virus scan pops up when its not suppose to.

Bogus Response is right! I've never heard back from them when I report bugs. Wow! Everybody has internet issues? All toons? How can that be?

Not surprised to read that they told you to make sure you update your drivers. What a crock!! It doesn't bother me about the whole floor thing but the fact that they obviously don't take the bug report errors seriously so why have them???

That is the same email I get everytime I send a bug report. I have been rather blunt in my reports on open, telling them not to bother with the same canned response... and guess what I get .

I hope TT changes it back like they did with the orange names. It's a pain when I'm playing two toons in there as I get one through the goons and then the other. The first one now gets sucked into the battle as soon as I'm passed the goons. It also makes it hard to pick out the six as you can't always see the levels in the battle.

I haven't really ever reported a bug report, but it looks like why would I want to since the responses they give other people don't help much?
