I was able to load it again and play...looks alot better than the first time I was able too, graphics appear to be better and the game is running a bit smoother. *knocks on wood* Still not sure if I would buy it when it comes out, I have a hard enough time squeezing in TT time and then runescape I just don't know if it would be wise to try another game.

I am Molly Treasurestack, probably forever a level 1...wonder if they will keep the test version when they come out with the open one, like in TT???

Is anything from Disney free? hmm

Yes and no.

Yes, you will be able to play free, but it will be supported by advertisements on screen. And you will be limited to how far you can advance in the game.

You will have to pay a monthly or yearly rate to continue to play. Just like TT.

Woo!! Hoo!! I think I made it to level 2 (not sure). It seems to be working ALOT better than during phase I, the only probem I have encountered so far is when I tried to buy something I got stuck in that screen and couldn't get out. Had to completely shut down the game...*crosses finger* that there won't be many problems but I am sure more will arise. Anyone know how much it is going to be per month when it is finally released?

It is still in Beta testing and is free to those who were lucky enough to get a Beta Key. We don't know when it's being released. The web page states Fall 2007. There has been no announcement on how much it will cost.

Ok, I just seen a clip from yahoo about the Pirates game and it said on there that it was to be released in the Spring of 2008, so...you take your pick on which time frame it is. If it is in the spring looks like there may be a phase III of the whole thing. didn't really expect it to be on time, did you?

I still am not able to get on Pirates. I can log in, but nothing more. I sent a bug report, and they had me doing something under internet options with the connection. It appears that there isn't anything wrong with it. I've sent another bug report, we'll see what they have to say next. Neutral

Let me ponder this....Disney = on time? Hmmm. I think not! Razz I do hope (sorry those that don't have beta and are waiting) they are waiting and getting all the bugs out vs TT where it's on test all of 3 seconds and sent to open all buggy.

Sorry you can't get on PBB! It is (so far) much smoother and graphics are better etc than phase 1 was. Then again I haven't done much so far.

2008!? Wow. I guess I won't have to think about it for a long, long time.

Aw, Kari...I am sorry that you aren't able to get it. I had that problem in Georgia with our computer and never was able to get on it again, not sure what exactly the problem was but I was never able to fix it. If I hadn't updated the memory recently I am sure that it wouldn't be working on this one either. Maybe more memory?? I don't know. Wish I could help you but as far as computers...don't know much.

OK let's try this way,

BETA TESTING IS FREE. If your accepted as a BETA tester there is no charge. ONCE it goes live to the public, THEN I am sure it will NOT be free. You may get free trials to lure you in and then you will need to pay to play. Confused

No man. No free trials Zippy. They did say a free version of POTCO will be available, supported by ads on the screen.
But then, if we can't trust that they will release the game this fall, who knows what else we can believe from Disney. lol Very Happy
