I want to change my blog background. But I want to change it to something other than the default stuff. Do you have to input some sort of code within the blog? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The ones with default backgrounds can not be changed. I'm not sure which ones can be, other than the one I use, which I believe is called "various". When you click on it in the blog CP, it will flash different colors at you. I think there is at least one more that can be changed; maybe Doctor Skids will stop in and tell us.
Not every picture can be used as a background successfully. Some sit in the middle where you can't see them, some tile themselves and don't look right (although some look fine that way!). Just play around until you find what you like! I have several saved over the years so I know which ones work as a full background, but it took a lot of experimenting. Have fun!

Maybe it was just me or lady Z's vague advice, but i had to upload the picture in photobucket or one of them and then paste the link in taking off the [ stuff inside here] and then it worked fine.
