The VP

I just cant belive how people thint that they can go in a VP battle with little to no gag experience.
I mean come on the VP can be brutal if you dont have the right gags.
My last 2 experiences with the VP today my whole team was under 40 laff and had only level 4 gags.
I was beside myself......
I became sad both times.
What also stinks is that im almost a name dropper(i no pretty low level)
can anyone help with my next battle??

Come on over and join our TTF runs! These toons have had a lot of experience, and they're all great and fun! The daily postings of the runs will be posted each day in the TTF Runs section. The VP days are on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On there, it will give the information for you to follow. Hope to see you at one of the runs soon! Very Happy

im an 85 laff and im only a cold caller 2, but i have the highest throw and elefant trunk and i have evrything but drop... if u wanna set up a run wit me thatd be awesum... reply soon!

Oh I totally know how you feel! One time I vp'd There was this girl with 2/45 laff with no gags on my team -_-. I'll get some of my friends together and we can Vp! Just pm me your code =]

Take my advice. Don't face the VP until u have all Level 7 gags (Maxed damage and organic trap (if you don't have trap, get organic throw)) and 100+ laff. Don't do it alone unless u have 10 of each of the following SOS cards:

Toon-up- 5 stars
Trap- 5 stars
Lure- 5 stars
Sound- 5 stars
Drop- 5 stars
Restock all- 5 stars

... and 10 of each of the following unite phrases

Toon-up:
MAX toon-up
80 laff toon-up

Gag-up:
Toon-up
Trap
Lure
Sound
Throw
Squirt
Drop
All gags (x30, just in case you're in a tight spot)

Like my advice. Oh, and BTW, can u hold 30 of each unite phrase? I'm just wonderin' 'cause I never got a unite phrase.

Lol, that's a little excessive. If you go to CCG or TTF runs, you're fine to have much worse laff and gags (although don't use that as an excuse!).

Yes a bit excessive. Although higher gags are nice for a VP on one of our runs you should do fine. (or CCG) Even if you do go sad there is usually a "revenge" run where maxed toons will come out to help you through.

Hmmm I don't think in my 3 plus yrs on TT I've ever had 10 of any of the above.......

I took my 35 laff uber in his first VP with TTF and he was carrying level 5 gags, no unites and lived. Play smart and have fun.

Sounds like your VP battle was run by Randoms-R-Us. I agree with the posters above that intelligent play is more important than gag sizes. Come on over to a place where folks care. These folks have been known to hang around for a revenge battle if things DO go sour.

I don't BELEIVE IT!
I took my 56 laff toon to fight the VP twice. She had Level 5 throw/squirt, level 4 drop, level 3 toon-up and level 2 trap. She became sad both times. I HATED IT. And with no sound, it's tough. I HAVE NEVER WON A VP SO COULD ANYBODY PLEASE GIVE ME TIPS????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????

Like what was posted before... try going to some of the runs that TTF holds.. people watch out for each other on these runs .. there were a few runs i went on and my teammates were 18 - 50lp and all made it out alive.. TTFers work together and help each other and we balance the small lp toons with big lps... so find the schedule and join us.. you wont be sorry!

Click on Forums, then Toontown Friends Runs. You'll see the most recent times posted for each day.
Or, click on Newest when you first sign onto Toontownfriends, and any post you haven't read yet will be there.
