It was funny. The same day my 11 year old told me about Soulja Boy and Crank That, I saw the toon with that name! You'd think they would at least do a google search on some of these names. I think that naming a toon after a real life star is a no-no, isn't it?

Even though this is not a bad name and I'm glad it got approved, I wanted to mention I just met--Defeet Aut Ism! My pig made friends with them right away!! Cool.

On Test I had tough time getting a name approved for my black cat. Cattitude was immediately rejected. Cat E Tude took time to be rejected and Purrrrfect also took time to be rejected. Out of frustration I used Kevin's suggestion and named it Snowball - lo and behold - THAT stuck lol. I love it though Kevin, no worries there. A Black Cat named Snowball

One that sticks with me was Macon Bacon, I cant ever get a name approved for me and someone gets sex slang as a name .

Like all great corporations, Disney has its perks and quirks. They will not allow anything "foreign", or so they claim. However, there are the inconsistencies mentioned above that should by all rights be rejected for the sake of the Kid-factor. I remember trying to get names approved some time ago... Some of my friends suggested submitting a name on the weekend (Sat or Sun), as it seemed Disney had a different "screening crew" working the shift. I think now, they may have incorporated some software to do their approving. Therefore some great innocent things get rejected and the subtle (or else no so subtle) things are approved. No software can ever fully review innuendo. BTW, my Lard Bucket toon name was approved in about a week, as I recall.

I knew my name would probably be rejected.. Captain Morgan ColaSpritz....

But scrolling through the preapprove words I came across Captain Salty Lemontwist....

Thats pretty straight forward the idea behind that right?

I did come across that Lucy Furr and Helenback.. i think they are pretty much allowing real life stars and the like...

And yet they still reject Smidky every time I submit it, go figure, lol.
