Well somewhere on TV I heard randomly on a comercial/warning that Poprocks hurt your mind.I do not have many details yet but I mean.Well Come on can a candy REALLY hurt you?

Anybody our age knows that they pulled Poprocks when we were kids  ....they just recently came back with them.
I remember as a kid putting them in my mouth, and the pop/fizzing effect going off in my mouth. I don't think I even thought about shallowing them till the fizzing was done.

Here is where I will post the facts that I find.Well apparently a myth that fired this whole thing up is that someone had poprocks and then soda and they or their stomach (stupid mixed answers  ) exploded.I guess it is posible to have that happen if you eat pounds of it.But what if it doesn't take that for some people.Maybe for some if they have a normal ammount and drink a soda their stomach might get all messed up...Auuuugh I'l never do that.This myth however triggered the Green Day song "Poprocks and Coke".That's just some info I thought I'd share since I love Green Day.I also read that carbon dioxide is one of the ingredients?Is there anything that if you mix it with Co 2it makes an explosion.If so than this could also be a theory.It can explode if mixed with X (which stands for what makes the explosion.There.Well it could explode... couldn't it?

Hubby saw it on Myth Busters and said they proved that it wouldn't do any harm. I'm not sure of the quantity size they used. Might be something to look up?!?

Ok - had to look it up. Snopes gives this rumor a big FALSE.
Also, Princess Boo Boo is right, Mythbusters did this experiment (I LOVE these guys!). Here is what they did:
There was not enough carbon dioxide produced by the reaction to make a stomach explode. However, with six cans of cola and six packages of Pop Rocks, the subject would experience considerable pain.
I don't even want to know who voluteered to take six packages of Pop Rocks and drink six sodas. I would think you would be in pain just from the drinks  .

I adore Mythbusters, and love Snopes. The most the combo would do is cause a LOT of gas (BURRRRRRPPPPPPP). That could be pretty uncomfortable if you didn't belch fast enough.

Well who WOULDN'T be hurt by not getting them.Now let's see if I had a choice of poprocks or any other candy and I got some OTHER candy I wouldn't be supporting the being hurt by not getting them(assuming the candy is good(not that there is a whole bunch of good candy))
