Girls Against the Boys Run~ REMATCH!!
View Single PostView Single Post

I can't believe I am doing this!

Lets have a rematch! We all know the girls rock, and this rematch won't change that. BUT since we all love our boys sooo much, I think we need to give them a chance to be able to hold their heads high again. I hate the thought of them wandering around Toontown, embarrassed to look all the other boy toons in the eye...makes me sad just to think about it!

Date: Saturday, January 21
Time: 10:00 pm Eastern

Same rules as last time. I only ask these two things:

1. If you think you will be attending, post to show your interest here. Once you are SURE you will be attending, send me a PM and let me know that. if I don't get that PM, I will not be adding you to the list. Please make sure to PM me by Friday, January 20.

2. PLEASE get on at least an hour before the run to read the rules and guideline, check out who is in your group, and pass on SF codes if necessary.

I will make a post a few days before the run to let remind you all to PM me.

Nothing to prove here, I've been humbled. Although, I still haven't put on a skirt (other than with my daughters, lol)

Ack! Sat. nights are no good for me, as we go out and see friends on Sat. night.

Is it possible to hold it on a different night?

I'd love to try on the police uniform, especially since as of late I've been a better stinker than a player. I'll work on getting McEngineer to come, too.

Because of the amount of organizing that it takes to get the teams put together, I really need to do it on a Weekend day. I spent about 4-5 hours preparing for the last one. It won't take as long this time, but will still be time consuming. Don't want to push it to Sunday, because I want people to have time to get their bucks again for the boy and girls nights out on Monday. Maybe take a night off from your real life friends to spend and evening with TT friends? Hope you find a way to make it!

Don't sign him up just yet but you can probably add him in as a definate maybe

I'm quitting the force. Sign me up as one of the harrassees. Sadly, I'm sure I'm free that night. I don't like navigating this site much, but if you still want a pm I'll send you one.

I'm in! Uggg checking the lists and looks like bux won't be a problem but if I do one more VP before then than I'm back to 5500????!!!!! Oh well 11 days away! If I do one quickly that will be much easier than squeezing in the 5500 in 3 days! Not 100% as you never know what RL will be happening in the next few weeks but I can give you an "I'll do my very best" at this point!

I so want to do this again. I wont even be a short change anymore by then. Police if you need one, otherwise, I will pie and stomp like a fiend!

I already wrote it on my kitchen calendar and my appointment book. I love that I do this for TT and TTF!

I was so disappointed that I couldn't make the first one. It sounds like you has so much fun. Hopefully nothing will keep me away from this one...except for possibly 5500 merits LOL

I wish I could, as this would be a lot of fun but my wife would probably kill me. She thinks I play too much TT already.

Hmmm - not sure about this. I would definitely like to be there (just look what happened when I missed the last one), but I need lots of bux and lots of merits. With a concerted effort I could probably be ready, but that would mean playing a lot on open instead of test, where I'm having soooooo much fun these days. I'll have to think about it.

Little Spike Twinkletoon and Queen Frecklezilla would be delighted to play again.

While I don't need no stinkin' merits or bucks on my toon (thank goodness), you may find me working the Bullion mints on
my girls toons after 6PM in the 2nd busiest district. Both my wife and daughter's toons need ~ 6000 and 4000 out of 8900 bucks. On the postive side, all our toons are VP ready and not such a problem keeping them there for now.

Last night I bumped into LadyZ, DawnThat, and Dr Skids. They made us pretty welcome. I was shamed into going home to get some new phrases. My daughter's poor toon still has all her holiday phrases and few snappy comebacks.

If anyone needs help getting prepared, give me a holler. I may not relish doing 8900 in a day (I've done that two or three times, ugh!) but will as many as I can before bedtime. Speed runs thru the factory are also available. (~1200 merits/hr are a family speciality). Regular factory runs available on my 2 sellbot ubers to all comers.

Just whistle....

Oh, and I guess I have an appt. with my seamstress for a dress fitting. hmpffff
