I decided to start a thread about the silly things you might do in Toontown. Here is mine.............


My test toon, Spike Sournerd, got new task I read it -recover Cauliflower from Donalds Dreamland. No problem, right?
I go out on the street start picking the cogs off. I don't get any. Skip invites me to help with a building. I do two buildings with him. Still no recovery. At this point, I'm pretty frustrated. I decided to re read my task, just in case I read something wrong. After several re readings I finally see the top of the scroll says "Go Fishing"

Anybody else do anything like this?

I've needed bosses like Big Cheeses and gone into several tall lawbot buildings wondering why I didn't get any and it wasn't an invasion. Then I look at my cog page and in simple words and pictures it shows me that Big Cheeses are bossbots, not lawbots. LOL

Well something i did funny was

on my knuckles toon i was like pushing people off the boat with my sister and then

someone did a glitch and other people did it too and pushed us off the boat and reported us

well this is kinda a duh moment..
When gardening and i dig up the plant that i just planted .... what a waste of perfectly good JBs!!!
Or buying gags and telporting to adifferent playground and going right back in the gag shop to buy gags again...
hmm OR getting low on laff points in a building of HQ and so I run around collecting teasures for 10 mins only to then realize that i finished a toontask and didnt need to do that at all (of course wheile collecting treasures I was yelled at for taking others LPs! ) HEY!!! That wasnt nice LOL
I have many others... Maybe I am a bit more dingy

A friend says lets go Race.. okay ill meet ya there.. well they are waiting and waiting for me as i run through Toon town central to the speedway cause I dont realize that I can TP there!!
and how many gazillion hours have I played this game Hee Hee
I dont know how long it took before I realized that it showed the damage on the gag page for how much damage it will do and wether ot not you get credit for using it on that cog...
if your wondering.. yes my Piggy is named Loopy for a reason!!

Long story short -- Clerk Clara is actually NOT a 5 star drop card. And requires lure to work, so don't count on her for lureless night.

Longer story shorter, get your gags before the VP. Professor Pete isn't always available lol.

Oh yeah - getting gags IS important. I popped on once, forgot I had gone sad and TP'd to a friend to do a building. All without ANY gags at all. Man - that was embarassing! Luckily, the other 3 toons had enough firepower, although the one random had to wonder what I was doing!

Picking off a certain type of cog and not getting my task accomplished and then realizing they had to be in a certain playground. OR! Taking down some Pencil Pushers when I really needed Penny Pinchers

Lesseee, In the past few weeks.
- I thought I was picking L7 throw on my 2 tracker, Black Licorice, I was full, and removed my tree. Had to wait 21 days for a new one.

- Went sad , gagged back up and forgot to TU, TP'ed to the pit and showed up in the Vp lobby at 1 laff. (on Fritz). Still danced but I imagine folks thought I was a griefer or had a death wish.

- Thank goodness for gag up all, 2-3 times I've jumped on a 4 toon CFO with, uhh some gags, (no L6's, weenie gags) etc...

- Double trains!

Sheesh you guys! I've never done anything stupid or silly on TT! Ever!!! I always pick the correct gags, do the correct tasks, know where I'm going and what I'm going there for etc etc. No gags? GASP! Never! What kind of people are here playing TT? I'm speachless!

I think I have done everyone of the things mentioned here. The one that got me the maddest was running all over the burg to go from 0 to 109 laff points and then going into Head Quarters to turn in a completed task. Now that is pretty sad.

I can't imagine going into a boss battle or building with no gags. Who does that? Or any of the above mentioned Yes those darn penny pinchers and pencil pushers are confusing. I'm with someone up there as I used to say it over and over to myself as well. I almost tp'd to a friend in between rounds in the VP. Good thing she wasn't in the same district.

I've never done a whole DA D with randoms and then get to the super and have no invasion. Decide to call one myself and accidently move my mouse after I did call the invasion and instead of closing my book hit the X! Nope never did that this afternoon....not at all....not me......

I like how you all don't do anything wrong.

Oh yes like going home after going sad to tune up with Doodles then garden for a while and fish..... just passing time.... Friend yells to go through Factory with them they need merits... well gosh so do I.... ummm ready to pick a gag in battle can't figure out where they ALL went??? Who stole all my gags??? Hey and I had lvl 7's all of them!!! What the..... oh yeah.... I went sad... zap.... all gone....! hummm should of went shopping Oh yes!! Saved I had a all toon up unite!! phew! I'm just a poor ole granny! Losing my mind!

I think we have all done funny things... I just took some task in Cashbot HQ and after doing several Dollar mints realized the skelcogs are only accepted in the Bullion mint.. Grrrr felt stupid and well frustrated.. But on the bright side.. getting my gags up..LOL

There are so many things I've done...LOL
One is I went in to the bullion mint without any gags....
Make sure you get gags before you go to fight the cogs!

Don't task shop while chatting with friends. Need I say more?
