Running Backwards
View Single PostView Single Post

Whenever I am playing for over an hour in River, my toon starts to run backwards. It is so annoying, especially when in a battle like CJ, or trying to jump the green lava in the mint. I have to log off then back on to stop it. Disney hasnt been a help to fix this issue. Memory isnt the problem. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem. Thanks!!

Not sure if I'll be able to help or not. But I do have a question for you. When you are playing, is it on a laptop? I know with my laptop that my toon would go in a counter clockwise circle. I would just tap the opposite arrow and it stops.

Have the same problem with my PS2 controlers......always pulling to the right. Unplug it and plug it back in seems to correct the problem Shocked

I do get laggy after an hour in River lately.... Have been getting more laggy in the recent month....wonder if it is due to the unstableness of TT (cogs throwing a wrench or 2 in the system). Have you had a problem before the the new year?

We have been having a problem lately on the desktop. After being on for a while we are very laggy. Then if we tp to the estate - POOF we get the report a bug page. Just for fun, I did send Disney a bug report. Guess what they said - UPDATE YOUR GRAPHICS DRIVERS!! On the off chance that it really is the drivers (I mean they did just "fix" things, right), I did update my drivers yesterday. I will check today to see if it helps at all.

I've been laggy(ish) for about a month or so. I did attempt to update my drivers (they didn't need it). It seems to come and go and it's different than the lag of the old days. Hard to explain but the best I can is it's "jerky" vs "laggy"????????

As for the running in circles I find on pirates if I press a certain button (and this has, in the past, happend on TT) I'll keep running until I press another button. Usually it's the arrow key that stops it. No clue what starts it. Think it's ctrl or alt, while pushing the arrows or something?
