I had this to show up in my email today:
So does this mean that test is done? And if so, does anyone know when is it coming out to open? They were very ambiguous regarding the date within the newsletter.

I can tell you the testers don't think it is ready for open.
There is still a lot of disconnects. The boss battle is nearly un winnable. The testers asked for it be more fun. The battle was tedious. The devs made it so incredibly hard. The only people I know that have won used all kinds of unites.
There was an update yesterday but I haven't played.
You can never know what Disney thinks though. The testers didn't think that Law was ready to go to open when it did.

It really is not ready for open. We went in this morning with 7 very experienced toons, only 6 of us danced and we used a ton of unites. The battle with the CEO is terribly long and tedious. Imagine hitting the up arrow on your keyboard for over an hour, repeatedly... not fun. My hand was hurting by the time we left. They are making adjustments to the battle nearly every day, and hopefully they will hit the right level soon.

Sounds like fun to me...not. But yeah, I got the same email and of course got all excited about the new boss battle. Oh well, maybe it will come out for summer and I'll actually be able to play.

I can tell you that I played the boss battle today and after the cog/waiter part the 7 toons in there (I was the last one green) lasted about 4 minutes. (no unites used) Sort of like law use to be. First way too easy then way too hard then like it is now. You still get booted if 4 toons work on one of the games/puzzles getting your ummm whatever they're called in the country club. Yes, lots of work before it's even close to be ready for open. Then again this IS Disney.......
As hard as I hit the up arrow I couldn't get the darn thing to stay up far enough to actually hit him before he hit me! Oh yeah tons of fun

After the update this morning, I did a CEO and it was actually great. I had a lot of fun and as long as you don't let your laff get too low (you can eat snacks which give very small amounts of laff), I think it is a fairly easy win. He ran me over every time that I was on a bottle, but it was still a win and a lot of fun.
Some people are suggesting that it needs to be tweaked a bit more, but after my one run, I would say it is ready for open. I think it should be challenging, yet fun and winnable.
