Update on my ban

I went through the ringer with Disney on my ban. I asked for clarification on why I was banned (for those that missed it, I said the name of a city that I was travelling to). I did not want to fight the ban. I just needed to get clarification on what I did wrong so I would not do it again (goes back to the concept of giving us clear guidelines on what is proper).

After being completely ignored for two days, I began pushing for an answer. I got an automated reply telling me that I had not agreed to their terms again. I sent a message back asking for them not to send a canned message and to respond to my question. They replied with an email telling me that they could not answer my question on email and that we would need to talk on phone. They gave me the number to leave a message with my contact info. Now here is the great customer service part: They told me that I could not get back on until they had a chance to look at whether or not I should have been banned and discuss it with me. After a full day (and passing the end of my ban) of leaving messages with no response. I called corporate customer service and I filed a formal complaint against that department. The lady that took the complaint (I think her name was Katie) told me that Disney reviews all complaints and takes them seriously. The people on the phone (different department) were great and helpful. I highly encourage you to contact them if you have trouble getting help with a suspended acct. They were the ones to get me up and running. I was also told that it was a great stretch to say that what I did was a rules violation.

If you need it, that number to customer service is 888-332-1626. Remember to file a formal complaint and get a case number. It is really the only way that we can guarantee change in that area.
