It is possible to beat the middle 6 with only 3 toons, I just did it. No unites or carts were used. The only drawback: 90 minutes...

90 minutes is a looongg time! If you get some good rewards in the golf game, I could see it being not too bad.
However, I'd sure be tempted to use some level 7s or unites myself!!
