OK, so i want to get my drop maxed, and am always trying to get into nutty river to get the most i can. now, there's a couple of my friends that are ALWAYS in Nutty river...so i teleport to them, here's the funny thing, they are "sleeping" they have the bubble message you can do by typing the period and it's constantly changing. I know they are not there, but they do this to stay in Nutty river all the time.
Does anyone know how they do this??

I read this in another thread...not sure about the changing cloud chat...if you go to the elevator without enough bucks merits etc that window pops up that tells you so and if you leave it there it won't log you out...they NEED to fix that.
Another suggestion is to make another district an "invasion district"...there's enough big wigs running around to change the way of the town.

I believe they have put some type of weight on the period key making it repeat.
I have read about people who have been suspended for doing this.
As for the you can't board pop up, I thought they fixed that one.

I left a toon on all night that way and received a warning email from Disney almost immediately. I would not advise it.

An invasion lasts about 8 minutes. So that means you'd need about 7 toons per hour who are able and willing to call invasions. Invasions are time consuming to earn, and most toons don't have multiple invasions stored up until they've been a Big Wig 50 for quite awhile. So you're not usually going to call an invasion just for the fun of it--you call one because you're in the mint/da and you need the extra bux/notices. I'm not sure how many toons it takes to "fill up" a district (turn it red), but it's got to be in the thousands. So there's a really high volume of toons in districts like River and Summit who are doing mints/da's/factories and who are calling these invasions. To create another successful "invasion" district, you'd need a whole lot of toons - thousands of them. One of the other forums is trying to create another invasion district with their membership--I forget which district. Here at TTF we use Crazy Hills a lot and when I see an invasion in Crazy Hills, I always wonder which TTFer is calling it (or if a TTFer is calling it). But the bottom line is if you want an invasion in an off district, you pretty much have to call it yourself. Lately I've been noticing more invasions in off districts, and I'm betting it's because toons are working Boss HQ in these off districts. But, the good news is this weekend TT is calling an all-day bloodsucker invasion, so no matter what district you're in, there'll be an invasion (the down side of that is if you need something other than a bloodsucker to complete a task, you'll have to go in the factory/mint/etc. to find a non-bloodsucker cog).

Kind of off topic but I for one am hoping many toons will take this weekend to work gags! Lately it seems so many 100 plus toons have such bad gags in their rush to get to all the boss battles. What ever happened to taking pride in maxing out gags? Like the old days before invasions. Uphill both ways....in the snow....
As for River. Something new is up for sure. Can't say I've seen toons standing by boss doors as I rarely do a boss battle in River but I have seen the mass amounts of toons once again in DDL begging for beans. Sadly toons are giving out beans and until that stops I don't see the mass River rush ending so ones who want the invasions can get in.

Thanks Terrkan for the invasion info...what happens if 2 toons call for an invasion at the same time? do they come one after the other? or does one cancel the other?
I was in summit late last night and there were a few invasions... River stayed red until 20 minutes before maintainence shut down sure enough there was an invasion in progress when I popped in. Got my Piano Nanner but not gonna use it in front of y'all until it's damage gets higher embarrassing for it to do less than 100 damage I don't have the Speed Chat phrase-"can you help me?...a little bit more than that..."
I was always afraid of the Boss Battles before I was a 100lp and always thought you NEEDED those lvl 7's so I waited until I had a couple before I even tried VP at 80 lp. Now I'm sided with a 30 something every other time whose best gag is a fruit pie. Which is what a 30 something probably should have. Those big toons with bad gags are probably just too impatient, Or don't have a 3 year old to work their gags for them
I personally like Lure in 5 story buildings to work gags (that experience is CRAZY high during an invasion on top floors) I HATE it when toons wanna blast sound on the top floors I like sound when I just need merits or bux, but it's such a waste when all that gag experience is not taken advantage of. (Excluding Boss Battles "Lets use Sound!").

If you try to call an invasion when someone else has/did, it lets you know one is in progress. I don't know what would heppen if you hit at the exact same second, but have never had a problem.
What happened to the folks that would 'farm' building for gag building. I know when I am in with a friend, we will do our best on the top floor. Usually, we work toon-up there on the last couple of cogs. I know that I maxed lure first on Lime Cat because my pal was trying to get TNT and max it. So, my job in buildings was to lure, lure, lure and the toon, toon, toon. Good to know your place!

Just a note that everyone has the "Can you help me?" phrase it is somewhere at the bottom then over on the side. Did you find it yet??
You really can get a lot of pts without invasions and MrJinx has basically done all of his gag work in buildings in off districts. If you follow MissP's advice and wait to do the working at the top you can almost get 200 pts depending on the level of the gag worked. I have spent a good 20 min at least just on the fifth floor of a building. It does take patience but is easier then running around for a building in river.
Plus you can't fill up your book if you keep calling invasions.

I like to start working them on the 4th floor and finish off on the 5th. I also check the other toons and if they haven't maxed a gag I try to get them to work them.
Invasions... there are the overflow district and it rarely has the number of invasions that river has... In the old days we chewed on the bark of trees for fun and we liked it!

"Can you help me?" "I haven't found it yet" is interpreted by most as "I have this gag, but it's brand new"

ahhh ok I always thought it was just to make sure you get the kill.
When I see a piano I always assume it's going to do more damage than 89 points so I don' t pick too big a gag (until I see what it actually does in damage.) b

I saw a toon parked in Nutty River by the Bullion Mint elevator last night standing in the corner and he kept saying "Jump!" "NIce Doodle" and he would jump. This went on for a long time...is this a doodle training program and should we report stuff like that?

Owoooo!
Doodle trainers! Bad toons
I've never used them because I've always been caught at anything I've ever done wrong in my life! However, I have never reported any toon on Toontown - not sure why.
I have friends that use the doodle trainer (although not in the HQ, just to train their doodles)

I also get caught when I use stuff like that so I don't bother (not that I can keep a doodle for more than a week with Maddox playing him anyway!)
I really could'nt care less about what people do with their doodles....TRain them to garden for you for all I care. What you do with your Doodle at your estate is between you and your Doodle. But to use these "CHEATS" To Lock up a spot in Nutty River that you aren't even using makes me MAD! I feel it undermines the spirit of the game...rid the town of cogs. These toons are the Scourge of ToonTown! Bums and WHINE-o's...standing in dark corners playing with your Doodle! SHAME ON YOU!
Speaking of Whine-o's...I think Nanner pointed out in another thread about toons begging for beans in DDL...WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?!? I parked my toon there last night after CFO's to take a quick break and everytime I came back, there are 4 or 5 toons pushing me around begging!! So everytime I said "Let's go Fishing!" "Let's go ride the Trolley!"...sheesh. I have asked for things on here before but they were things I don't have access to yet. I would NEVER ask for Jellies...come on...they DO grow on trees, they are in the ponds on every street and playground. Bingo is fun, it's a good way to get JB AND to build LPs.
I saw in another thread where somebody took a screen shot of cheating racers to report them...I think I may turn in to a TATTLETALE if I see this Doodling in public again.
ok...I feel better now...thanks for letting me vent.

Yeah - the racing cheats really bug me as do the bean beggars (I only beg here on TTF for beans!!)
By the way, thanks for all the beans at CFO last night everyone! I was probably one of the few that needed beans, though, as I haven't gotten to the Just for Fun tasks just yet.
