I guess we have all noticed the new sewer covers / drains or what ever you call them in the US, that are in the HQ's now.
So here is the topic. What are they for?
My suggestion is as follows. We are all the toon resistance against the Cogs. What do the resistance in all the films like to use? Tunnels.
It has been a pain to not be able to TP into a HQ so mabe Disney are going to address it by letting toons use the sewers to get to the HQ's.
What do you think?

That was my guess when I first noticed them. Then again, I've been wrong before (I'm still convinced there's going to be something after maxing your shovel . . .). Maybe, just maybe, with a maxed shovel we'll be able to dig a tunnel from our estates to the toonholes in HQs . Better get to maxing the shovels on the rest of my toons
EDIT: More speculation . . .
Ever wonder why Clarabelle allows you to buy multiples of the same statue when you can only plant one? All the statues you buy are stored in your "Specials" tab until you use them. There are 4 different statues, 4 HQs - coincidence? Perhaps each different statue hides the tunnel entrance on our estate. We can remove a statue and dig to hq, then replant a different one to get to a different hq. The pieces are starting to fit together.

The ultimate cog, in charge of all the four HQ's. Interesting, but what would he be? Sell? Cash? Law or Boss? boy, would be a task if you had to get Merits, notices etc after each run, from all of the different Hq's. Do NOT let Disney even think about that.

I think so too Nanner, certainly hope they don't add anymore, I'm afraid I may have nightmares! LOL What else can you find in sewers? Um...maybe we shouldn't answer that question, could be yucky!

TP spots would be ever so appreciated!!!
Here's my take on it ... ever notice on the map that big area behind daisy's garden. its a big area full of water.... perhaps they are gonna add an underwater game or area that has to do with water...and the sewerline leads to that spot.
characters for that area: Percy P. "Bad Pete" Percival or Donalds nephews: Huey, Dewey, & Louie or Uncle Scrooge
OR it could be a "Cool Teenage Spot" run by all the second generation characters such as donald's nephews, Morty & Ferdie (Mickey's nephews), Molly (Minnie's niece), April, May & June (Daisy's nieces), P.J. (Pete's son), Max (Goofy's son)... a beach scene or waterpark, .... lol just goofin around with ideas!

Wait a minute here, who are all these toons? If Donald, Mickey, Minnie & Daisy have nieces and nephews, the who are their siblings? I always thought they were "only" toons. I don't remember P.J. from the adult toons, but when did Goofy get married? Is Max adopted? Where can I find a toon family tree?

Here is P.J. He's Max's buddy on Goof Troop and the Goofy Movies. You know, I was wondering this myself, about Goofy's wife. Where did she go? Wikipedia tells me:
"Goof Troop bears similarity to several early-1950s Goofy cartoon shorts which depicted the Goof as a father to a mischievous red-haired son.
Goofy, now as a widower, moves back to his hometown of Spoonerville with his 11-year-old son Max. As it happens, Goofy and Max end up moving in next door to Goofy's high school friend: Pete, a used car salesman and owner of Honest Pete's Used Cars; Pete's wife Peg, a real estate agent; and their two children, 11 year old son P.J. (Pete Jr.) and 4 year old daughter Pistol. Max and P.J. become the best of friends and do practically everything together. A large portion of humor comes from the relatively normal Max's personality sharply contrasting with his father."
So, what do you know, poor Goofy has had some pain in his life. I wonder if this accounts for his blank expression all these years wandering around Daisy Gardens and Goofy Speedway. I sort of feel bad for telling him "You Stink!" so many times.

WOW! Wikipedia has all the answers!!
From Wikipedia:
Huey, Dewey, and Louie are the sons of Donald's sister; in Donald's Nephews, Donald's sister is named Dumbella, but in the comics, her full name is Della Thelma Duck. In the original theatrical shorts, they were originally sent to visit Donald for only one day; in the comics, the three were sent to stay with Donald on a temporary basis, until their father came back from the hospital (the boys ended up sending him there after a practical joke of putting firecrackers under his chair). In both the comics and animated shorts, the boys' parents were never heard from or referred to again after these instances, with the boys ending up permanently living with Donald, in keeping with Disney's usual elimination of characters' parents. All four of them live in the fictional city of Duckburg, in the fictional state of Calisota.

Has anyone ever seen Enchanted? Where did they come through? Sewer covers. I think that might add some interest to the teleportation theory... Hmm

This "sewer" conspiracy is getting awfully complicated, and I'm having a hard time keeping up. Am I right in understanding (from the above posts):
The toon resistence is soon to be put to the task of tunneling between their estates and the four HQs, which tunnels will be hidden underneath statutes in our yards, and only the weary toons who've maxxed their shovels will be granted authority to dig. The tunnels will at some point breach the infrastructure of Toontown and infiltrate the TT sewer system. Deadly cog rats roam these sewers, and the underground passages are fraught with danger. But, somewhere down in this dank and dark place, is a Cool Teenage Spot, run by Donald Duck's extended family (whose family tree is painted in bright colors in a mural on the wall) and poor Goofy, who has been banished from his home town of Duckburg, Calisota. Certain toons who are as yet unsure of the tunneling conspiracy theory are currently glued to their TV sets waiting for breaking news of sewer cover sightings, which news releases are primarily contained in the movie, "Enchanted."
Am I missing anything?
Oh, and did you notice, in TEENY TINY letters down near the bottom of the screen you're now looking at it says:
"Sewer Uptime 12 days 18 hrs 14 min"
(the numbers might be different by the time you see it).
That's GOTTA be a clue! Maybe the countdown until this all happens??

Maybe that's where the jellybean trees grow? | maybe they will just lead to toon up and gag up areas like what Nanner said...i know it's a bit of a dull idea but who really likes going back and forth from playground to cog headquarters to complete certain toon tasks? i know i can do without that sometimes!
