--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
April 26, 2008 [sv1.0.33.2.test]
ATTENTION TEST Toons: Some of your Toons may be temporarily inaccessible, but don't panic!
We are testing some new Toontown Trial account features and some Toontown Test accounts have been temporarily set to a special Trial account status -- If you've had Toons in both the top and bottom-middle slots, then you will have access to both (the middle column) during these tests. If you did not have a Toon in the bottom-middle slot then you will only have access to the top-middle one (1) Toon during these tests.
PLEASE NOTE: The five (5) remaining Toon slots of these accounts will be unaffected and temporarily unavailable during these tests. After a period of time accounts that have been set to the special Trial status will revert to normal and all your Toons will be accessible once more. During this test period all Toons will take turns having their account set to this new Trial status, so don't be surprised if it's your turn!
If your account is in this special Trial one (1) Toon status, you will have:
Access to Toontown Central.
Access only to Toontown Central ToonTasks.
Limited Goofy Speedway access.
Access to your Estate.
Limited Access to the other Neighborhoods and Cog HQs (you can only participate in street battles).
Test accounts that are in this Trial one (1) Toon status will only remain this way for a short period of time, so please jump right in and play thru all aspects of Toontown. Also, if your account has been made into a Test Trial account and you have an open top-middle slot, please create and play a new Toon.
Be sure to report any issues you encounter via our Report a Problem page! The Toon Council thanks you for your assistance!
Bug fixes in this release
Fixed bug which caused Toon names in new fonts to not be seen by other Toons.
Fixed bug that caused Toon names to be missing information while in Cog Suit disguise.
Fixed missing texture on Seltzer Bottle gag during battles.
Fixed rare AI crash which could occur when you teleport to your Estate.
Fixed a crash when going from one country club floor to the next.
I check my toons only can use my middle two. The only thing is you can leave ttc and go to other playgrounds but that's all you can do you can't do no buildings, factories, mints,DA's,playhouse, golf you can do buildings only in ttc hope this doesn't last as long as it did the last time

Grrrrrrrr, here it is - around midnight. I'm waitin for my oldest to return from a prom date and thought I'd work on buildin my trap (at 5500) on Lard Bucket. So I log on and find that the test site is actually.....oh-no-they-couldn't, could they?.... testing!? Sheesh, and he was hopin to get his TNT this weekend. I guess it will have to wait til the TESTING is done... I guess I'll have to return to open from being a Test-Hermit and work the Ole Dawg some more.

I logged on to work on my DD tasks, a building and I can't do it. GRRRR. At least the toon I can access can water my gardens. I can't even take my new wardrobe out of my mailbox.

Drat - my two toons available do not have their gardening equipment. What a drag for them to actually test stuff
Yes, I was nice and took my toon racing, back to the estate, ran through a few streets. Worked fine (boring, but fine).

Not that I play test very much (only when new stuff comes out) but I'd have to make a new toon. I don't have any test toons in the middle. Who knew???
I just love this one "Fixed a crash when going from one country club floor to the next"
On of the big issues I was emailing TT back and forth about. (and not so nicely either) Every form letter they sent me it was MY fault. Next update they'll be fixing the lag that was my fault too.....

I think the changes to the trial toon look great. This seems to settle many things - the problems of having the trial toons shuffling in buildings, etc. but also lets them explore more (and will probably cause more to eventually sign up ).
Hopefully the Testing phase won't last as long as before, though.

The Sunday Night (Brown Monkey) Run was very light....I haven't been in 3 weeks so I only can compare it to the last time I was on Test.
6 toons at the VP
8 toons at the CFO
I needed 80+ Notices and 130 Options... just couldn't seem to get those before the run
Paradox couldn't speak nor could she fight the VP but she did show up in the Pit to see us off...

An odd night at the Brown Monkey run to be sure
The trial thing was interesting in that they have the button to click to subscribe always on the bottom (sort of like Clara). Man - I was tempted to hit that thing any number of times!!

Both my accounts are on Trail today. I could TP to the Playgrounds but not enter any shops, stores or anything with doors Not even the tailor shop or the pet shop or Toon HQ or Gag shop.

I have been on trial on both accounts since Saturday. Someone posted elsewhere that she was on permanent trial on VISTA but not on XP. I was able to test that out last night and I had the same experience. I don't usually have access to an XP machine, so my loss. I have submitted 2 bug reports and will continue to do so every day until they fix it.

I had an interesting adventure last night. We have two machines. I had just started up the good (newer) machine and gotten the login screen. It was blanked except for the two middle toon choices. Then it was needed to reduce a homework dilemma, so i drifted over to the not-so-good (older snail-paced) machine. It's a Win2K OS, and when TT updates get posted, I have to uninstall and reinstall. Since we don't play on that too much, I did the manual thing and reinstalled. At that point, habit took over, I logged in on the account I knew was blocked. Well it opened up with all toons accessible. Was I amazed...? You bet. I played for about 20 minutes or so. Pray-time rolled around so I went for that with our youngest. When I returned, my toon had gone to sleep. When i logged back in, the account was again blocked. This is the first time I have noticed this. I didn't get my TNT but was able to take down a couple bldgs toward it.

If ya need some gardening done Sandra (watering, anyway), send me a code for one of the toons you can log on to and a time to meet. I'd be happy to water for you . . . for a small fee, of course .
It really stunk on Sunday not being able to go the boss battles, especially since I'd worked so hard getting 5500 merits for Pigs first laff (couldn't even log in to her). I spent a late night with Audrey getting bucks and was so looking forward to CFO, had my notes and options, too. Oh well, at least I'll be ready for next time provided I get off this trial thingy.

Owooo! So I log into test at lunch and see the new update. I think - Great! I'll be able to play. Well, no such luck. Still just have my 2 middle trial toons. Bummer!
Worse yet - I go to Open and see we have our new nametags there. But, it booted me twice and was generally a little dinky.
