Lol, I read your last post about how you remembered you played arcade games before TT. Even though it was only a few months ago I'm trying to remember what I used to do while watching baseball on my computer (I'm hi-tech like that). Mr. Green

I think Daisy did it!!!!
View Single PostView Single Post

I have a theory about the big daisy in her garden. She has been conspiring to take toontown for her very own. She has a very large wrench hidden under the daisy. She has locked all of us toons out. Now she is after Mickey, Donald, Minnie and Goofy. I wonder if we will ever get to return. I have never trusted her. She is so vain. What do you think? Evil or Very Mad

Thanks for the arcade.com link. I downloaded the free version of Clue. I LOVE that game! Always have. When I was a kid/growing up, we ended up having 2 of the Clue games--a cartoon drawing version and then a picture/real person version. We started playing Upstairs/Downstairs clue--so you would have to say the Old Mrs. White with the New Revolver in the Upstairs Ballroom. Doubled the number of cards, etc. It was lots of fun. My whole family would play. A couple years ago my niece got the newest version for Christmas where it is "computerized". I tried to get them all to play 3 floors of clue, but everyone groaned and said no way. lol Very Happy
Anyway, thanks for the link. It helped kill time while watching American Idol and waiting for toontown to come up. grin

We used to play a lot of card games before computers came around. Now if the card games isn't on the computer, no one is interested! Mr. Green

My family is a HUGE card playing family. I live in the same town as all 3 of my grandparents because both of my parents grew up in this town, and we moved back 3 or 4 years ago. If there's ever company (usually my uncle that isn't married because he travels in the area a lot for his work), we'll usually go over and play a game or two of euchre. Since there's about 20 or so people on my dad's side of the family that knows how to play cribbage (aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents), we have an annual cribbage tournament at the 4th of July party because everyone is usually there. In my 3 tries I have failed to win, but am still known as the luckiest player in my family. When I was younger, I would seemingly be able to call what card I wanted to turn up, and there it would appear. Well, I'm basically recalling memories becauese I have nothing to do. I wonder how many times I've posted tonight... Probably at least 15.

This is really pathetic of me, but all I am doing is reading about toontown. Checking these threads, reading Sheriff Tricky, whatever....I miss my buddies and even the half hour elevator shuffle seems attractive now.

That reminds me of that movie, Maverick, with Mel Gibson. He would try to guess the card and never could, until the final big poker game. He guess it right then.

Your family sounds so fun!!! I used to like cribbage too but haven't played in years! I don't even know if I remember how.

After I had my kids and I quit working, I stared playing games at www.pogo.com. Pretty decent games at www.mostfun.com too. they have full access to a bunch of those premuim games only they give them to you with commercials.

I watched Boston Legal, haven't seen that show in awhile.

It's so true, I'm down with say, poker with friends. Not so much online. I used to be a big backgammon player.

Know what I was thinking would be way fun? If Toontown opened a bowling alley! I defy you to tell me that would not be a hoot!

(Mtlymouse just strolled in and said "Toontown is STILL down?!?!")
