Soooo.... We have Lady Boo Boo playing in the wee hours as well? (Making mental note of that).
Yeah, I suddenly got booted and then couldn't sign back in or even get the home page. My guess is they were resetting all districts before putting the CLOSED notice up? Kinda backwards, you'd think, but hey, it's Disney.
Maybe new emotes are being put on OPEN? *shrugs* Haven't a clue. But as much as I'm a night owl, THIS is going to be way too late to wait out and see for me... Sheesh, gonna have the 7 giggling (9 and 10 year old) girls that I watch each morning, here in 5 hours.
Did someone set up the coffee maker yet?
*looks around*
Nobody? Nobody? Fine... I'll go do it.

Weird thing happened last night. Well, it happened the night before, first, with one toon - I was running 2 in the DA and one came out of the elevator and into the gray. I could see nothing - just a black screen, but he was not frozen. I was able to guide him using my other screen and after the next elevator he was fine.
Last night it happened to both my toons AND the two of the friend I was with. We had to alt out.

Yes I am having the same problem. Fatal error on login, or disconnecting after only 1-4 minutes online. It started yesterday morning and is continuing. My IT guy did a ping check and the Disney server in LAX is causing time-outs. I did a live chat with a rep and told them this and they won´t do anything, they kept telling me to call my ISP(provider), which I have done. My compouter router and ISP server are all fine, no lost packets, pinging is perfect. A trace only found a problem in LA, which is their problem not mine unfortunately.

That reminds me too, the night before the constant crashing, I experienced a large amount of grey space and viewing the battle from behind in the factory!! Are they afraid to tell us they are having tech problems, not like we would not understand...right?

Is that what it looked like on Q the other night? You mean we could have been running around last night, just unable to see where? That's the second time it's happened to me but it never occurred to me that I would be able to run around...although I think the last time it happened it was on both screens too.

Yep, that's exactly it! Last night I used the arrow key to check, and sure enough I could hear the pitter-patter of my little feet. I even typed out a message in case you weren't affected, telling you I was going to have to alt out.
So the first time it happened I could see Q on Z's screen and as long as I kept her behind him, could guide him through (luckily there were no major obstacles before he woke up!).
I did try to open his book to see if it would get him out of it, but although I clicked all around where the book should be, no luck.

OMG!! i was feeling all alone here!
This is my THIRD day without being able to stay logged on TT! THIRD!!!!
I just don't know what to do! I've uninstalled TT and put it back, checked for updates ("yeah, it's the drivers, ma'am"), ran a PC clean up, had some aspirines, ugh! I just log on, can't stay logged for more than a minute...
THIRD DAY!!
I need a life....

Your not alone! Seems to be affecting alot of toons. A SF of mine said he was having trouble but not to the scope that we are experiencing. We are just lucky I guess. It is not your PC, it is Disney´s problem when they finally get around to admitting it and fix the issue.
Two days off and counting, think they will add it to my subscription date, ha!

Yes I had the same problem in Bossbot HQ. First 2 times I was able to follow the other toons and then when we went through the door the picture came back. The third time I followed them but when I was trying to get into the cart - I couldn't do it and the game logged me out.

Are you guys contacting TT? I guess they won't realize it is aproblem unless they have a lot of reports...
i have been bugging them and even though I explained to them that I had already uninstalled and re installed the game, they come back and tell me: "We're sorry you are having problems playing Toontown. We suggest that
you manually uninstall and reinstall the game software on your computer
to fix the problem that you reported." HAHAHA
they will not get rid of me, oh no!

I have sent yet another bug report to TT. I am losing faith in their abililty to be honest. Sad since Disney is supposed to be about values and family and they are so strict about netiquette yet they are obviously lying when they tell us to uninstall or that it is our ISP. They have been taken over by Spin Doctors!
Momo Rufflemuffin , going on Day three with no TT............aaaaaaghhhhhhh

Don't blame the poor support people for Toontown. They CAN'T do a darn thing.
Maybe you should post a bug report over at Pirates Online. That's where all the money and developers are...Fairies Online or something. Toontown is a nice side project now.
Remember the toon detail crash bug? What!?! It took them almost 40 hours to fix that one!
Sadly, that's the curse of getting addicted to a game owned by a capitalist empire like Disney.
My little soapbox rant don't offer any salvation though. Sorry about that. But I still suggest submitting a Pirates bug report about Toontown.

Wait a second. Been doing some hardcore Google searching about Toontown, VR Studio, and best of all: Mike Goslin. The brain behind it all.
He wrote a paper or book about Toontown. Anyway...his email address is there. Mike.Goslin@disney.com. Try emailing him. Hopefully it's still his email address.
Here's the book if you're curious:

You are awesome. Since I can´t play I might as well share my free time with Mike!! I will try the pirates bug report too. A live chat representative from toontown actually hung up on me when I requested a supervisor, he said he did not have one then disconnected. Our IT guy here believes that the outgoing servers are overburdened with all the new free accounts. It seems only to be affecting certain regions, I am down here in Mexico right now and all three ISPs we use here are experiencing the same problem at the exact same time, but Disney still insists it´s me Doh!!
Speaking of fairies they are in Techie la la land.
Definitely curious, i am a bookhound!!
Thanks,
Nancy / Momo Rufflemuffin 107
