I tried looking for a thread that fits, but I couldn't find one. I know that we have seen (and even written about) mean toons. I wanted to post something about nice toons.

I was running a Back 9. At about level 7, I experience some gray. I couldn't see any cogs or obstacles. All I could see were the toons. I could engage the cogs, but couldn't see them. And at the end of the level, the toons board the cart, but it wouldn't let me. I was about to resign myself to the fact that I was going to have to bail, when one of the toons says to "Follow Me". So I follow him. He leads me to a spot and I come out of the gray. Suffice it to say, I was able to complete the Back 9 and get all my options. Here are the toons who helped me make it out of the gray:



The attitude that these toons portrayed (sp?) what I think TTF represents. They could've just left me behind. But they didn't. The led me to a spot. Encouraged me to not give up and praised me when I made it back. If anyone knows these toons, please pass along my humble "Thank You!"

That is great! These are the type of people that make playing the game so much fun...Just like the people here!

And I'm not sure if this was caught or not, but these toons were all randoms. Only to mean that not one of these toons are on Bear's (or any toon that I have) friend's list. Again, very cool!

It is really nice when you run into great toons out there! The mean ones stick in your mind, but there are lots of nice ones, too!
Yesterday, poor Miss S was trying to finish her 5500 merits. So many toons ditch her in the factory. But then, a big toon will often whisper to me an invite me to come along. That always refreshes my spirit!!

Love the topic! I've had so many toons be mean/cranky so it's nice to hear about those that are nice. I've had three toons, Horse N Around, Straw Bear E, and Princess Lily Sparkleflipper, that have adopted me (they're a lot higher level than me) and have mentored me for weeks now. Because of them, I've maxed throw, sound, beaten the VP once, and made it through CBHQ twice. They're amazing, always willing to help me, often at the expense of completing their tasks. I so wish I could thank them in person. I wouldn't be the toon I am now without them!!

Just last night I was going to take a little toon with a new cash suit into the bull to defeat some cashbots, her gags are still pretty bad. My friend didn't want to go becuase she said the shuffle would be so bad and they would ditch me. There were only three other toons outside the bull and two of them whispered to me Let's Go. So off I went with these 3 random big toons. They were so nice the entire mint, no problem that my biggest sound is a baby elephant. They kept me tu when needed and although the 2 were sf, they also participated in lots of speedchat banter with me. I think the 4th toon was afk most of time LOL.

Yeah, there are a few bad apples out there. But by and large, there's a whole lot more nice toons with nice people behind them.

Wow to be listed on the good toon page is a great honor. I am glad I was able to help. I myself enjoy helping others the most on the game. I spend most of my time telling new toons i meet and can chat with about ttf and how they are so very helpful to lower toons especially at the runs. I think I have recruited at least 10 to 15 toons to ttf and I am so thrilled that they have joined.

I just want to say that I am NOT (repeat NOT) mentioning Midnight Rose and Bear Lee Here on this thread! There, I've said it. I told them going through the golf course getting me those last options for my 23300 that if they kept stealing my moles I would have to NOT post about them in this thread. So, I'm not.

However, Lady Penny is another story. There she is - sick, sniffling, coughing. Running the course and trying to make correct gag choices even though she is half comotose with tiredness and cold to help me out (and didn't even NEED options). I'm mentioning her here.

Well, if you aren't going to mention Bear Lee Here and Midnight Rose, then I will. Bear Lee Here and Midnight Rose cannot help it that a CERTAIN Rat couldn't hold her water when it came to mole stomping. We, graciously picked up her slack. And what do we get? We don't get mentioned!

But, I would like to thank Lady Penny for escorting our options run! You Rock! Hope you get to feeling better!
