I've seen your toons in tt recently and hollered out to the family, "Listen to this name...." and we've all applauded your creativity. Thanks for letting us know it's you. I'll be waving as we race past, or hitting the skids to jump into a building or factory elevator with you. Welcome to TTF.

Tyvm all of you! Yes, most of them get rejected a ton of times before I get them through! A lot of the names are 2nd, 3rd or 4th choices because I couldn't get the ones I wanted either! Surprisingly Ewan Huzarmy got accepted right away on open but they wouldn't approve it on test! Now that I think about it, I did get Ewen Whadarmy approved on test though! I made a ton of black cats on all of our accounts, and I had to go look to see the names I'd chosen since most of them are on test!
Here's the others:
Al Beback
Morty Fide
Bea D Eyes
Hawthorne N Yercyde
Right now I'm working on Ken U Seeme and Chasen D Mowse (both black cats) and I get tons of comments when they're together. With Ken U Seeme, people whisper "Yes", "Hee Hee!", all the time, it cracks me up. Chasen D Mowse gets comments from mice all the time, needless to say. A friend of mine pointed out that the names could be run together too and we got a pic of them...

rofl! Can you see me loose in the streets chasing the mouse?

LOVE the names! So many toons, so little time . . .
Hey, any suggestions for a boy bear name? It needs to be a masculine name (not for taunting the guys at boys night out or anything like that, no siree). I tried a simple "Ima Guy" and it wouldn't even let me submit it before telling me "The name you submitted has been rejected". I'd love any suggestions from those with more creative minds.

I had thought of a few for bears, but after hearing them, I decided not to make one~lol I can't think of any "Bear" specific right now, but how about these?
Dane Jerous
Dean Eyed (I can't count the names I've had this done too~lol!)
Jason DeVillain
Juan Manband
Klaus Shave
Lee Mealone
Lou Cowt
Luke Bizzy
Mel Lowe
Noah Count
Noah Vale
Percy Veer
Perry Noid
Shamus Notfriday
Stan Dandeliver
I also have Herb Avore for a bear on test, but I doubt I'll ever play him...I seriously dislike the way he sounds! So if you want to try that one feel free!!! I don't know if any of those are what you have in mind, but hope they help!

Oh, Now I'm jealous! They denied that name for one of my toons a good while back.
After 4 days of going back and forth in email they finally tried to laud the "No Real Names" rule at me.
Glad the person looking at your name was more lenient. Great Job!

I've had a TON of names denied for that reason, it just makes me nuts every time! I mean come on people (TT), do you really think someone would name their child Ida Zervbetter or Haile Improbable or any of those I've used? Sheesh! Ewan got approved right away for me! He's about 8 months old, I'm not sure why I got it and you didn't though! I tried for Tristan Shaut on test (Tristan's my first name) and got denied for the "real name" thing...even though I explained it was a play on words and tried respelling it Tristan Shout (for Twist and Shout~the song), they still wouldn't go for it! ~Sigh~ Who knows HOW they decide what's ok and what isn't!

EDIT: PS: I just LOVE your siggy! I happen to know a few slinky's!

| Sir Monty McGrooven : | I think that's their way of trying to force people to use the much scorned name generator.
Oh, and I saw a couple names just two days later that I'm shocked made it through. I'm as open-minded as any and I didn't feel they were appropriate for an all ages children's game. No clue if they're still in existance as I haven't seen them since.
I love that quote too. I would start a slinky list, but it'd probably be far too long.
|
Oh man me too! I've seen a few that made me do double and triple takes! Some are SO completely inappropriate as to make mine seem boring! I'm just grateful my kids don't understand some of them that are quite shocking even if I AM open minded! And they think Tristan Shaut is wild? I wouldn't even feel comfortable posting the screenies I have of them, some of them are so off-color!
