| Dog couldn't help but overhear since Quigley's sobs were so loud. Minutes later, the doorbell rings (since when did toons' houses get doorbells?). LadyZ gets up from her comforting, and comfortable, position on the couch and goes to the door. When she opens it, she finds no toon, person, or even developer or even even the alluring Clarabelle, but a brown sack. Inside is a sandwich and a note to Quigley. "I'm sorry for being so hard on ya. It's just that you're a cat, and I'm a dog. I couldn't control myself those few times. I could control myself most of the time, though. And I didn't"
Dog rushes in, grabs the note, scribbles on it with her pen, then thrusts it back at LadyZ and runs out the door. LadyZ takes a look back at the note. The rest of it, scribbled so fast that there are extra and missing letters and it's hard to read - "chase after yo anyway. Its just thesee doggynesses that come over meee. Wel, herees a sanwich for yu. u dont have to get me onne if u dont wnt to, I got one for mmyself already. Im sory." In the background, LadyZ hears dog say to herself inbetween licking fingers, "I'm going to get me another sandwich, that was good. Ewwww, my gloves taste like rubber!" _________________ Cheese!
