The solo story

The plan was to do it this weekend, but Clover came down with the flue. She was to sick to play, to sick to sit up, to sick to lay down and watch Sponge Bob! So, it was put on the back burner for awhile and as the day rolled on today she started feeling much better. The idea began to resurface again.

Excitement began to generate more excitement and the house started to hum. Let's do it!

We stocked the room with water and note paper to record each step of the process. The family gathered around the computer. We captured the screenies of the unites and SOS cards, for a before and after, in case we couldn't record what was used. We notified a couple people that the time had come.

Waving her off in the elevator, alone was pretty cool. Watching lure after lure miss and all 4 big cogs hit over and over was fairly intense. Her laff got down to 7 once, but she was always doing the math and knowing that she was just fine. One amazing thing was the max unite seemed to stop the 12 from hitting.....anybody see that before?

I was in charge of pushing the f9 during the game, but when it lagged the computer and made the shot miss, we abandoned that plan. I was also recording on the notepaper each cog that came out and how she killed it. (I'd like to try it some day to)

She used Doc's method of stunning and driving and managed to pretty much stay out of the way of all the gears. The most difficult place was the lower ramp where he stays stunned a fairly short time and must be hit from the back side and run to the front and drive him before he unstuns. He jumped back once and needed to be pushed down it a second time, but she got some good distance on him the second time. Actually, the whole thing was faster than many CCG runs I've been on with 8 toons stunning and pushing. In the entire pie part she lost 19 laff from gear surprise hits.

It was a thrill to see him tip over the cliff. The dance was really short with one toon, no tasks. Mr. Freeze was happy to get out of his cage once again. Back in the playground we hopped up and down a bit, yahoooing. Melissa was waiting and watching her laff go up and down throughout the cogs and skells. Together we leaped on the trolley for the victory ride.

She will be looking for more of those very handy Barnacle Bessie cards to equip her stash for a solo CFO.
