| Wow! Thanks for all the opinions. I am surprised to hear Pergo is so disliked - guess that's out!
Now another question for calamity or anyone else - do you know what needs to be done to prep a slab for staining? I do want to consider that if it's not too bad. My friend's was gorgeous!
