| I have gifted them to my kids a few times because THEY enjoy them, but I sure wouldn't waste the beans to have them at my estate. I've also noticed that once I've bought them on a toon, the cattlelog says "Already Purchased" (no matter when I go back and check their cattlelogs), so I'm assuming that's a bug, unless they're only planning on letting you rent them once??
