I heard about Elmo on the the morning news the day it became available for sale. That same afternoon I called the local toy stores, but they were already sold out. I went online at KB Toys and ordered it there. The price is only $39.95 plus tax and shipping. People bought them up like hotcakes and they were selling them on Ebay for about $100. Darn shame too because now you can only buy one at a time in the stores or online. They had it on the news about people fighting in the stores over Elmo here. A lady wanted one for her grandchild and a gentleman had to reach up to take it off the top shelf for her and another male customer got mad because it was the last one and HE wanted it. So he punched the gentleman for doing that
